Have had a 4 slice and died, now a 2, they don't cook all over even very well.

Great toaster. Had this colour and model a couple of years now and still great.

Showing up as $219 for me - was it an error?

    • Looks like it. It went to full price while I was in the process of buying it! Grrrr!

      • It's sold out, that's why it went back to full price. It should still be $95 in store.

Got this toaster about six years ago. Still going strong. Really like ours. Lots of features that we actually use and the slots are wide enough for lots of different things including frozen waffles and baguettes out of the freezer (sliced in half of course).

    • What features may I ask? Other than the length you can cook the bread ?

Not OP, but own this toaster.
There is a button "a bit more" which drops the toast back in again for a bit longer which can be useful.
There is a "check toast" button which you can press and it raises the toast so you can tell how much it is done before dropping it back down again without resetting the toasting time.
There is a "crumpet/fruit toast" setting which heats one side of the elements more than the other
As well as standard length of toasting buttons and a cancel.
        Very useful.

Edit: the toasting time left is also displayed using the little led lights which is useful to gauge when toast is ready.

  • Just one in stock

  • junk doesn't toast bread evenly

  • With this toaster you need to be careful to make sure it is cleaned out very regularly. We had one of these and a small bread crumb got caught on an element and shorted it out. Tripped the power and then the toaster blew up. That was the end of it. Luckily we managed to get a replacement from the shop we bought it from as it was less than a year old. The replacement does the job ok but is not great. Bread does not toast evenly.

When this one dies I will buy a more simple manual one.

  • Looks like stock is back online and available at $95

  • Mine died after a year of using it. Manual ones are so much better.

  • Picked one up lets see how it goes.

  • Big warning about this model, I have one and it has a design flaw - the metal elements inside stay 'live' even when it is not toasting. My young daughter tried to get some stuck bread out with a metal knife after toasting. The toaster was plugged in, but 'off'. She tripped the house's RCD, it would have been different if we didn't have one.

By live, I don't mean hot or toasting - the toaster disconnects the neutral from the elements, which leaves them off, but still at 240V.

  • Outrageous RRP. It is just a toaster with heated elements.

    • It's a motorised toaster, different to a 'toaster with heated elements'
