Really expect someone to fly for one day (36 hours) in Hong Kong? Australian customs will be all over your luggage when you return.

I've flown in an out of SEA countries in that time frame often. No issues. Nobody even looks twice. Same day meetings are more common that we realise - especially when last minute negotiations need a face-to-face for whatever reason. And this will sound crazy, I've also done super short trips for mates parties (it is brutal on the flight back home with too much Sake or Soju mixed with Whiskey flowing through the body with no sleep. But a mate has got to do what a mate has got to do).

    • +6

Not too uncommon. I once flew an overnight flight to HK from Melbourne, arrived at 8am, went to a trade show, and took the 8pm flight back to Melbourne.

I do regular 3-4 day trips to China too, never been questioned.

      tinder dates

      • Status mile run, you'd earn 60 points

        • nah, nah, if it's a status run, it would connect to some more domestic legs, and aiming to earn more than 60 SC

  • +4

Virgin has matched and has double SC's on also

    • Which is better for international flights? Qantas or virgin

      • +1

What's better on the roads, a Toyota or Honda?

        • +3

          Toyota, and Virgin.

      • I do prefer the 2-4-2 A330 config.

        • +1

          I'd prefer A380.

  • Rep, is this still on? i checked and prices are definitely not $472

  • No such prices at $472 return from Melbourne. Maybe $742 (way too expensive for HK).
