Combine with cashback for a bigger discount and thus cheaper than Coles.
Got 10% coles gift cards and Amex shop small coles Myer cards + flybuys points > than what you said.
There’s always an argument to be had.
I love it when someone comes in with a valid argument and not 'cheaper at Coles' because I didn't know that ;)
Also, buying from Coles means you get to eat them sooner 🆒
@altomic: By paying a higher price and the few cents involved in travel :) I
@Clear: Risk of delivery : Tim tams are sitting in a hot truck, and the choc melts. Can't take that risk.
Misshapen Tim tams - how would you do a Tim Tam Slam? 😩
@altomic: Not to mention the packet would be crushed and thrown around. Basically a packet full of melted bits and pieces.
Delivery is not always more convenient if you have a constant flow of miscellaneous parcels arriving and you're not home or you live in an apartment complex and parcels are just left anywhere.
@tranter: They ship in boxes with stuffing and not envelopes. Clearly never ordered from Amazon.
@Clear: And $100 wine voucher. I have about $3000 in wine vouchers. too bad they have a minimum spend lol
@Clear: imagine how much better off the environment would be if we didnt box and stuff the box with cushion for every 9 Tim tams consumed, nar, stuff that, lets just order a box of timtams coz I've paid for Prime and i wanna feel like im getting use out of it. Damn, outta milk, heading to Coles now.
@Clear: Mine arrived yesterday in a padded paper envelope, not in a box as you say.
The TimTams are heavily melted but they still taste the same after I prise them out of the packet with a knife. (after being in the fridge)
At least they weren't broken!
Probably fine to order in cooler months but otherwise a bit of a gamble.
@altomic: then you complain to amazon and get them for free. Make some tim tam icecream
How did you get 10% off coles gift cards?
AGL offers has 10% off occasionally, bought a large amount worth, still going thru it.
combine with 15% off $50 and + cashback > than what you said
Got 10% coles gift cards and Amex shop small coles Myer cards + flybuys points
enlighten us please, how did you managed to get 10% off Coles and how it is related to Amex offer?
Hopefully it's not delivered on a hot day and left on your front door step
another risk - some bast*rd steals your Tim Tam delivery!!!!
Exactly what happened to me yesterday.
My lazy self finally has something to use my Prime membership on
Any way to order more than 5 per transaction? (would love to stack with the 15% off 50+ deal)
Different flavours?
that story over 3 years old. Coles were bullies to all their suppliers back then.
Bullies to not pass on price increases to us, the consumer?
Sounds familiar

Why wouldn't you want chocolate biscuits delivered 48hrs in a truck in the Aussie summer - sounds like a great idea!
Because this is OzBargain and people would rather save a few cents even if it means a packet full of melted bits and pieces.
How do you think they get to the supermarket in the first place? Albatross?
Refrigerated truck from factory to supermarket.
And Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/review/B07GJJ18YK/R268UYPXMJ…
its $1.82 delivered not the end of the world, worst case scenario, comes melted,
open chat:
you: hi my tims are melted
amazon: sorry to hear we have refunded you $1.82
you: thanks
amazon: thanks for your understanding & sorry for the inconvenience
end result: free melted tim tams
@RogueWolf: Please don't encourage more entitlement. It will lead to abuse. It may seem insignificant, but defrauding a Tim Tam at a time is a gateway to an immoral, corrupt society.
@Charity: Saying your Tim tams are melted when they are in fact melted is not fraud.
@RogueWolf: It's forecast to be 36 degrees on Wednesday when my TimTam delivery is due so we will see!
Everybody convinced me that Amazon is the way to go and the TimTams will arrive in perfect shape. I'll be a bit annoyed if they don't and I miss the Coles special.
Thx, bought 5 packs of double and 5 packs of single.
Seems to be a limit.
Same price in Coles
