I tried this out last time it was free so I could listen to music in my car that only does bluetooth for calls. The sound quality was so poor, I had to stop it after a few mins of my ears bleeding. Just get an FM transmitter instead - bonus: they can do stereo.

  I would have done the same, but could be ok for listening to basic voice pod-casts.

  My aftermarket BT is woeful for music like you described but fine for podcasts/audiobooks, will see if this app makes any improvements.

    I tried it with an audiobook and it was still rather poor quality.
    
    Think of the difference between the sound quality of a phone call at 8Khz sampling rate vs the 44KHz sampling rate of most digital audio.
