Decent wireless drive, can stream to 3 devices simultaneously. Video streaming at 1080p can be done to a single device only. 4K streaming stutters. Price is reasonable for the capacity and functionality.

Cheaper and quicker delivery below I noticed. Just got one and not sure I need it?

What you do with it once you’ve used up the 200gb?

You delete something and add new stuff?

    • you buy a new one

  • The reviews aren't great, firmware updates may help: https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/17556/~/updat…

But if you just use it as a 200GB USB stick, it's not a bad price! Also, the app was last updated May 2018 so YMMV for future android/ios updates.

  • I have a older style of this device, which is bulky and annoying to travel with, so this looks better size wise, but I wonder on battery life.

I use the drive for travelling, it's good for extra storage for Ipad (16gb)which doesn't hold a lot of videos after apps and comic books area loaded on it.

  • limited use case for this device. Basically only good for portable use, and if your laptop has no wifi. otherwise better options out there.

    • Which are the other options that you would recommend?

      • Depends on your situation. If you use a desktop pc that already has wifi then USB drive would be better

        • True. There are limitations like no write facility in wifi mode. I got it for when i go traveling. Streaming is good for devices such as mobile phones and iPads that dont have usb and dont have upgradable storage. You can keep it powered by keeping it in a power brick.
