I believe target has the same prices - no bargain!

    • is that on special?

If not I doubt it has the same features/quality.

Damo, I had to return a $249 broken blanket to Target today.
No sign of blankets this cheap, but they did have some cheapies.
No King ones at that price (their only K was $199 down to $149).

Obviously these blankets are an occasional special offer.

There was no sign of them at Aldi today (and a few minutes wasted checking!) and I wonder what quantities will be at each outlet.

Definite bargain price (not sure about the quality!) for King, that's a true bargain price compared to Target's $150 price!

Anyone on OzBargain who has bought the King blanket in the past?

have had a queen sized one for about 3 years. cant remember how much we got it for. works great. especially the fact that it has 2 controllers so I can have my side on and the hubby can keep his side off. the only cons is that the length of the cords is a little short, as they dont reach the bedsides so it keeps falling on the floor.

        • Thanks!

Better than my Target one which originally sold for $249, which didn't last half the time of yours…

Gee, samia is easily please. ALL electric blankets for double, queen and king size beds have two controllers. Only the single bed blankets have one :-)

        • @llama : good to know they all have 2 controllers. but the one I had before the aldi one had only one and had only 2 settings, hi and lo. but that was a long time ago so I got really excited with the 2 controllers :)

  • I got an electric blanket from Aldi once. I used it for a few nights but I kept getting paranoid that it was going to catch on fire or something, so I don't use it :p

Got a Queen size 2 years ago, still working strong. Quality is good, except it has large plastic plates to hold the cord right where you shoulder located when I sleep!

    • Similar design to the Target underblanket/electric blanket that failed us.

      Thanks!

    I got one- thanks:)
The Wool underblanket for $79 looks great, too. Really thick wool.

  • Anyone here who can report on whether King size was actually in stock?
Aldi HQ will not disclose stock availability so it's either visit shops or get reports!

Yes, (sorry for late) they had King size. They were in the clearance section the Wed. before the new stock came out. I picked up a Single for my son for $17.99:)

Thanks, I did get the King and it's working well. :)
