Cheap! However I doubt you can get a notebook computer now WITHOUT the Wifi access. Any other applications with PC-card based wifi adapter?

Well you could use it to ICS/extend your wifi from one device to another.

PCi to PCMCIA adapter to give your device a wireless card.

or Just older laptops wireless. You can make a digital photo frame from them (google it tonnes of cool old laptop to digital photo frame projects out there.
