Alfawise X 3200 Projector US $139.99 (~AU $199.91) Shipped @ GearBest

130

Saw a few projector deals recently and thought I'd share this one. Seems like a good option for a basic, entry level, no nonsense projector. "Andriod" version is $70 more, but doesn't seem to have good reviews and I didn't need Android OS anyway so I'm giving the "Basic" version a go.

Here's a review and the website description below:

      Native Resolution: 1280 x 800

      Not even close….

      • It is barely 720p.

    That native res :(

  • Native resolution

Nice lumens. But the res holds it back. But the price is nice. Nice selection of ports. But I’ve seen that remote on el cheapo devices may times before.

    Swings and roundabouts I guess…

      Nice lumens.

No, those are Chinese lumens, not ANSI lumens.
It is probably the theoretical published limit of the LED emitter in ideal circumstances.

  • how long do these last?

  • I would suggest going for Vivigright GP90 or GP100 for similar price

  • is this random brand from random pick off random bargain ?

    • "Andriod" version is $70 more

It's the "Andriod" version, not random…

  • Bought it several month ago. Was hesitating between this one and Vivigright GP90, but this one was in stock. Absolute overkill for the price. Goes flawlessly with apple tv, no need of android (or wifi) version.
Only disadvantage is lack of digital tv decoder.

You can find 3m "retractable screen" in Spotlight for $25 ) You welcome.

    • Thanks. I have an older apple tv. I guess you need one with USB out?

      • USB? no idea. mine is plugged to hdmi.

        • thanks. my bad. It is old but has one of those! Happy days.

Do you mean a blind hehehe

        ;)

      • White bedsheet.

    • What's the actual power usage of this model if you have an aldi meter handy?

    • So what I am getting is that this is basically a $200 AUD delivered 200 inch 720p TV.. I mean honestly that is not bad especially considering most games benefit more from larger real estate than just pure resolution.. This seems perfect for the modern to slightly retro gamer or just current games at medium to high but 720p settings.. Nice

What's the input lag like.. Is it doable like less than 150ms or something insane like 1000+ ms aka turn based games only

      • Review in link talks about lag, reviewer seems impressed for $

        • Thanks that was the best item review I have seen in ages.

The input lag the reviewer tested was 66ms which is not too bad much better than expected and definitely very good for the price and size this thing can output and handle.

Just grab a large cloth from bunnings or somewhere and this is a not bad portable media viewer on the go.. Pity it is only 720p but that is DVD quality viewing so still not bad.

If anyone knows of any 4k budget projectors I am all ears.. I still need something to view 4k Netflix and YouTube still to this day haha and something portable yet still big like this sounds amazing bar the short 20000 hour bulb life span.

  • I need to find the cheap but still decent 4k version of this do I can enjoying some beautiful 4k content.

  • Do these include the bulb?

Wouldn't mind a cheap one that supports dvb-t

  • Just got this. Very impressive for the price. Speaker loud enough for a normal sized or large (and quiet) room. Cons so far, no digital zoom, have to move it physically and the adjustment screw doesn't seem to fit. (used a book to elevate the projector)
