So just went out of my way to get one coz it's so hot atm. the 7-eleven I went told me you can only get a large surplee or a spider vanilla block. not both as it not allow to scan two barcode.
end up only picked up the spider block then walk. So maybe you need two phones or get half of the deal.!!!
I think you are supposed to put the spider block into the slurpee cup and fill at the machine, or use kronicmacstigator's variation of fill, sip, and dunk spider block. There should only be one product barcode to scan.

Had same issue, he said one but not both. He tried scanning and it didn't seem to work for both although I didn't see what he was doing properly. I got the Slurpee only.
if you have a different phone try a different store or even come back with different staff. went to another store redeem success. she confuse at first but got both items thru free on the machine

My local has been out of the icecream bricks and had the Slurpee machine busted since the hot weather on Friday.
The tried and true "system is down and won't accept vouchers" one works for all deals.
Had that this week. Joke they get away with this stuff
Wouldn’t waste my time on these 7-Eleven offers. My local store always find excuses not to honour the deals.

You should have both, as per the app designations. & The ampersand is the logogram &, representing the conjunction "and". It originated as a ligature of the letters et—Latin for "and". So get both and walk up and say the app says AND. Don't let the bastards get you.
They scan everything at my local store and told me i have to pay 50c. I told them the app said "and" so i should get both for free but they don't care what the app said.
After a lengthy argument about what the word AND mean, they told me if it doesn't scan on the system i can't get it. She said i can get one but not both. "Not my problem" as she eloquently put it and if i have an issue with that, i should complain to HQ (which i will).I end up taking the slurpee in the heat of the moment but i should have taken the ice cream and leave the slurpee now that i think about it.

Went to local 7-eleven and guy said wouldn’t let him scan, 7-eleven upgrading the system??? And he has no idea what a slurpee spider is…

Store ran out of icecream. Got the large Slurpee with the app and used my vanilla icecream back at home.
Managed to get the slurpee + spider for free, but not without a discussion about paying a dollar if I had put both in the cup, followed by me highlighting the “AND” in the main part of the app wasn’t clear they meant “OR”. It probably also helped that I first flashed the voucher and asked how to make it, at which point the extra dollar was not mentioned. It only became a discussion point after I filled the cup and scanned the voucher on my way out. Anyway, the guy let it go … and a happy customer coming back for fuel again next time.

Damn my local store only gave a slurpee free said the spider doesnt scan for free. Total rubbish.
Same with my local store, I only got the slurpee for free and had to cough up $1 for the spider even though the app states both are free. Staff coming up with useless excuses as well.
Ours would honor it they had ran out of the spider block, stating it was only free if both were scanned so were made to pay for the already poured slurpee

That’s BS! I wouldn’t have paid for the slurpee because the spider slurpee is already more expensive than the regular slurpee.
I haven’t had any issues with the WA branches. Looks like eastern states stores are more difficult to claim freebies

Take icecream to counter. It is scanned. I then put it on the top

I try the one near Victoria Market and also told that I can only get Slurpee. The spider costs another $1.
I am in a rush so do not have time to argue. Just get the drink and leave. I thought I was the only one being treated like that.

I couldn't redeem because it came up with "Error: Please try again later." instead of showing a barcode.
That happens when its sold out, you should screenshot barcode next time :)

Yeh similar thing happened to me with my little brother redeeming an offer last week but then I couldnt get it.

Tried to charge ne $1 but was firm about it and asked her to read the offer. She was nice and friendly about it and said its fine, just took a photo of my phone to show the manager because the offer only takes $1 off.
I want to give a shout out to the awesome Asian cashier at the 7-Eleven on the corner of Bathurst and Pitt Street in the Sydney CBD who went out of his way to get me a Slurpee Spider for the deal. Firstly, the front freezer was broken so they had no spiders but he said he'd check in the back just in case. He went and found one. The product then scanned incorrectly as others have mentioned above so he bypassed the price to make sure I'd get the advertised price of $0. I asked him if there was somewhere where I could give him some recognition and he responded with "all good 😁👍". Not all superheroes wear capes.

You can leave a compliment for him there. Just don't mention him going out of his way to give you a freebie(his boss might not like that very much). Just a mention outstanding service is enough.
I wish i had such awesome cashier like him in my local store. The one in my local store seem like they hate their job and hate their life. I don't understand why they care so much, it is not their money at the end of the day.
They have to scan twice. One for the slurpee one for the ice cream slider.

7-11 Bondi Junction cashier showing full attitude redeeming the voucher. Indian 20+ tall guy full moustache wearing a cap while at work. Straight told us we will only offer Slurpee with disinterest tone of voice to get rid of us. My friend challenged the guy to offer something different but ignored as the picture offer is slurpee nothing else and our store don't offer Spider block.
My friend make a surplee then make a mess on the machine counter not taking the drink then walk away as he is really piss the way been treated… Not a good sign but the guy at the counter I believe really hate people redeeming this and also his 7-11 job.
Conspiracy say it is so hot today that so many slurpee has been purchase anyway, some busy store staffs are sick of it

Corporate just got back to me after i wrote to them when they didn't honour the freebie. They gave me a 5$ top up voucher to my account :)!
If you want more slurp for your imaginary dollar. Fill up your cup, drink a bit, THEN put in the ice cream :)
