yes…..various options…auspost to courier.
price will be dependant on how many you buy :)Could we have a hint? There is no delivery charge shown when you get to the end of the cart and before you submit for purchase.
I added what I thought I could use (assuming each item is a PACKET not a single Cable Tie, not obvious from the cart) and ended up with about $13 - nwo what would postage be? $10? $50? $100?
There's a page of 'Freight Chargers' linked from the Home Page
http://www.rockby.com.au/freightinfo.htm
that lists a range of options. For example; meeting the minimum quantity/spend is around 4000 ties so the postage to Perth would be $13.50
or $16.50
or $15
or some other number, depending on the weight. The unit cost is no doubt very good but shipping remains a mystery even after an order is placed so that's a No from me.
Unless I ma missing something this is pretty misleading to quote pack of 100 but they are 15c each, so the price for 100 is actually $15.00,
From how I read it, it's $0.15 per pack of 100
Yeh its not clear. Maybe it's $0.15 for 1 pack of 100?
Title says (100 pack $0.15)…maybe…
Either way you need a minimum quantity of 30. So it's either $4.50 for 3,000 cable ties or $4.50 for 30. Too much of a gamble for me!
That has got to be one of the worst shopping carts I have ever seen….
Yeah, that's just awful. I couldn't even figure out how to add an item to the cart.
Price is 0.15c a cable tie, when you try to purchase
$0.15 for ONE PIECE of cable tie? not even a pack of 100 and exclude shipping cost.
Can't remember if it was this company or another but I bought 19k zip ties for $40. I've used maybe 10 of them.
One day…
Its really not that hard to grasp….qty 1 pack of 100 cable ties is $0.15…or 15 cents per pack of 100 cable ties.
They have lots and want to move them.
Don't make it harder than it is just because they seem too cheap…..Previous buyers can vouch for the value.
The freight costs are pretty much at "cost" so if you get 500g of ties it will be about $10 for a auspost satchel….pretty simple really.
The cart may be confusing to use for some…if it too hard to use, then maybe just shop elsewhere as these guys have been trading for well over 30 years now…and often come up with great deals rarely seen by most people of the general public.
so far all the negs are unwarranted as the Cable Tie deal is excellent, yet some ozbargainers are negging the shopping cart or the website or the fact they cannot grasp simple math.
Please also keep in mind that Rockby are mainly wholesalers and trade in surplus components and want to move stuff in bulk…not one packet at a time.
How many spanners and sockets included?
this seem like pretty good value for $0.15 / 100 cable ties!
I will also vouch for Rockby.. Have been ordering the odd thing from them for years & postage is always at cost…
U order, they call you back to get card details etc…
Aint that hard really!
Postage?
