  • Good price but I don’t need so expensive knives

    • +2

Hi Salian, a good quality knife lasts a lifetime and makes every day cooking a pleasure.
They may come with a higher price tag than a set found at your local store - if it's out of your price range that's fine. Everyone has different needs.

  • I was actually looking for a full set, but looks like you are out of the east/west now. Would have been happy to buy all the knives separate, but I do want the east/west knives.

Used them at a course the other day and were really good.

    • Hi JuggaloG, we have a few Furi sets which include the East/West knives. They aren't part of the clearance sale but still great value. As they come in a set it is cheaper than buying the knives separately at the normal price.

You can find these knives here:

If you have any questions just let me know.

  • Too slow, i wanted the FURI Pro Chef's Knife 23cm but its sold out now

    • Hi emerson, sorry you missed out. We do have a Furi Cook's knife if you are interested, otherwise we have several sets which include the chef's knife.

I have filtered the range so it only shows products with the chef's knife here:

Don't hesitate to get in touch if you need anything else.

  • Hi Rep, do you have any deals on wa-gyuto's?

  • you must have had really low stock. I was adding the 23cm bread knife to the cart and it was sold out.

Hi Skatterbrain, sorry to hear you missed out. This is a clearance of left over stock and unfortunately we only have 1-2 of each of the items under the clearance sale which was listed in the deal.

We have the Furi bread knife as part of other knife sets but no loose bread knives in stock currently.

If it's of any help I have filtered the range so you can view all the sets which include the bread knife.

  • No curved blade skinning knives, OP?

  • I know some people poo-poo the Furi knives but I've had a set for years and I really like them. The shape of the handle fits very neatly in my hand so I find them very comfortable to use for extended periods. The blades stay sharp for as long as any other knife I've owned previously, I attribute that to having a decent sharpener and honing them regularly between uses (i.e. I don't wait 'til they're blunt before sharpening).

FYI, if you don't have a good block to store them in then buy yourself a sheath or scabbard. Your knives will last much longer and it'll help to prevent accidents in the kitchen. OP, do you have any of the inexpensive plastic ones you can suggest?

Edit: I managed to score the 20cm Cook's Knife. I liked the easy checkout process that went straight to PayPal, makes it a quick and simple transaction.

    • Nicely put Chazzozz! And good to hear you've been taking great care of your knives, it does make all the difference.

We had a wood block (5 slot) as part of the clearance sale but it's been snatched up. Unfortunately we don't have any other blocks in stock at the moment or sell any inexpensive sheaths or scabbards.

  • What do you recommend for a high quality set or a combination of 2-3 knives for general house hold use? Eg, cutting up chicken, removing fat, cutting up beef for stirfrys. The basic steak knife is fine for the veggie prep, but our other proper knives go blunt too easily.
Or maybe I just need to buy sheafs/sleeves and get them all properly sharpened.

  • What sharpener do you recommend for my Global katana knife set?

  • Most stuff is out of stock which is a bit disappointing. I would have liked to pick up a few things.
