Considered the most value for money power bank to me apart from the cheap Xiaomi's 10000mah bank. no problem for carrying on a plane and prefect for your mac-book or Nintendo Switch charging. just about to get another one by using the ebay coupon and found this, prefect timing, store are pretty reputable as well.

in order to use the coupon code, item needs to be $120 or more, therefore add two to be qualified. so comes down to $63 each delivered.

  • Damnit, already bought the Xiaomi 3 from the MM deal.

    • +1

Xiaomi Mi Power Bank Pro 3 is 20000mah, while the one from OP (QB815) is 15000mah.

    • Plz post a link to the power bank you got.

      Thanks.

  • Nice find, great price!

  • Can this somehow charge a surface pro with an extra cable or something?

  • Lol the discount code reminds me of this song PPAP.

A very good powerbank. Used to get 3x for the price of that for 20000 mah

  • Anyone want to go halves on a deal for TWO of these?

    • i won’t mind if ur in melb

  • I want to pull the trigger but that weight…392g for the 15,000 but it's 406g for the 20,000. Might as well go all the way to 20,000 for an extra 14g.

    • Careful with the 20,000 if you want to travel. Apparently you can't take it in a carry-on. Or is it in your check-in luggage?

      • +2

Have taken it as carry-on many times

      • +6

Limit for flights is 27000. You cannot check in power banks

      • Took a 23000 onboard to Europe, no issues

      • +1

I don't think you can check-in power banks.

        • I took my Samsung Fast Charge Type -C, 10200 mAh battery Pack in my Carry-on, in July, Aug & Sept last year to Hong-Kong, Vancouver, Toronto, Alaska, Seattle etc, no issues at all. In check-in luggage, lithium battery not allowed. This Xiaomi is quite heavy for 392g, even my Sansung I find it heavy for 325g.

      • No issues for me. Notice boards at the airport said u need to carry it onboard. Not in checked in baggage.

      • We can take Qantas' policy as an example:
        https://www.qantas.com/travel/airlines/dangerous-goods/globa…
You can take up to 20 <100Wh batteries as carry on. To carry a battery over that capacity, they require email approval first.
There's also a formula provided on that webpage if you need guidance on how to calculate the Watt-hour capacity.

      • Thanks, I've been borrowing a friends to travel and it hasn't be an issue an far as long as it's carry on.

  • +1

Decided to get 4 of these with some mates i'm going overseas with for $61.11 each :)

    • +5

If you bought 5 the price on tax invoice would be $339.5 and you could claim about $30 gst back. About $55 each.

      • +1

LOL, I don't think we need 5 powerbanks but we're saving the TRS for drones and cameras.

  • Would this charge a surface go?

    • +1

Yes for the Go, but not some other surfaces without a special adaptor.

  • at $63 it is already a great price with free Delivery, then if you add cashrewards % or shopback % , deal become much sweeter. cheers

How much percentage cashback do they give?

  • the YouTube review link should be this;

  • I always found it a bit odd that the QB820 weighs 100 gr less than the 5000mAh lower capacity QB815. Obviously using different tech for battery and rest of the components.

Edit: specs on Amazon could be incorrect.

  • ***EDIT AFTER BELOW POST - FYI IF USING FOR MS SURFACE DEVICES I might give this option a miss as the just saw the Amazon review after I posted the below here and it's a hit and miss with a few stuffing up their Surface Go and Pro charge connectors on the device and the USB proprietary connector was more designed for wall usb c adapters not power banks, don't see it worth the risk.
Happy for this comment to be deleted or remain here for those intending to use it for their Surface Products****

I just ordered a Surface Pro 4 Batpower 26k power bank and just saw this and that the proprietary cable mentioned by @dave9999 may work. I'm tempted to refund the Amazon Batpower as it was the double the price $289AU) but then thinking one Xiaomi won't fully charge the surface pro and I'll need to carry two on a plane which would still be fine in accordance with most airline regs.

Can I please ask for if:
Anyone here using a similar DC port output powerbank?
If this would be a better option as technically would be 2x 15k or 40k? Or this won't quick charge the Surface like the Bat power?

Thank you in advance for people who reply to this comment and thanks OP for the deal.

  • Switch compatibility? Looks like a good price for a power bank!

    • That one looks to only have 18W charging mode max.
