Stupid question… but how does that work? Wouldn't you end up with one huge block of ice? Even if you froze them in cubes first, don't they all eventually stick together?
You fill either 1 or 2 corners of the bag by placing the bag between two trays on the door. So you end up with two huge chunks of triangle shaped ice that can fit into a regular cup.
And generally cone shapes have a pointy more or less fit into cup regardless of how large the other end is.
You mean freezing water, since ice is already frozen?
how do these compare to Goliath at Aldi?
I know Glad is better than Goliath but not worth the premium to meNo idea bout Goliath.
No idea if Hercules are better than bag A/B/C in terms of strength, etc.. never had a problem with an sandwich bags breaking.
But compared to Woolworths brand ones, Hercules are more satisfying to snap shut and they have the red and yellow colour on the seal.
The double zip is really good to maintain a good seal. Not sure about the Goliath ones unfortunately, but have used various Hercules bags and love them. The large ones are great for marinating chicken wings or large pieces of meat over night. The medium ones are good for sealing bacon after opening a pack.
Sandwich bags are obviously too small. Any deals on the bigger ones as well?
Good for freezing ice in the freezer when you have limited real estate.
