    Shipping probably takes longer

    • Depends on where it comes from.

I needed this ASAP for a b'day present so fishpond did not suit my needs.
You can pick this up in store as well.
And it's defn Aus stock with Aus plugs and Aus. warranty

    $169 http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/43228

plus in case you dont know yet, nintendo drops wii RRP U$50 in May and highly likely unveil wii2 in e3 (june), so price drop would be big soon

    • Doesn't make it less of a bargain for those who need it now as was my case

    • Plus $10 for adaptor because it's not an Aussie model.

      And warranty only through Fishpond.

    • you need to buy adapter and also this bundle comes with motion plus so its better.

not really a bargain IMO… its been at slightly (ie: $1) better prices than this before so this is nothing special.
and its almost guaranteed that there will be a price drop soon…
Some US retailers have dropped the price of the Wii today
And with the Wii 2 on the way (probably), i would be holding out for that or wait for the price of the current Wii to fall

  • I'll buy a Wii when it's less than $100.

Mainly to play Nintendo's first party titles, like both Galaxy games, Brawl, Donkey Kong, etc.

I'm hoping for some sort of deal around Christmas this year and a reduction in the prices of the games (even the first Galaxy is still really expensive).

  • Hey Stevie Ray,

If you have connected you Wii to the net could you go to the Wii Shop Channel and click on the connection ambassador promo and enter my Wii number (6127 7009 9119 1712)as the person who helped you connect.
