Give me a break, JC4 is at 65/69/70 on Metacritic. Yeah, it’s not GOTY be any stretch, but when did 7 out of 10 become so horrible?
When the games cost $70 (at launch) and there are plenty of other options out there. Movies are a two hour investment for $10 to $20, while AAA games are $70 and are typically expected to entertain for 40+ hours. You might as well pick 8/10 or higher, especially if you are time poor.
I just finished JC3, was really fun! Definitely a sandbox game with a light hearted funny story, if you don't like exploring and mucking around then look elsewhere. Great value at $39!
This is Just Cause 4 though - Just Cause 3 reviews are a lot more positive (and I think it's selling for around $10 at the moment?)
JC3 had terrible reviews on launch, absolutely terrible. They improved it so much with updates.
Pretty sure JC3 wasn't a buggy mess that barely held together though. Granted there was a glitch in the opening mission but that was fixed. Feels like JC4 was abandonware from day one though.

I think the xbox one copy had a 30 minute load time at the start of JC3
@GossipGoat: You probably didnt installed the whole game that's why. You can start a game even though the game is not installed 100%.

Forgot to do the return on my copy through the Chrissy gift returns thing at EB. (profanity). Paid 47 for it. Apparently it trades for 37 (level 4), and 20% more if trading toward preowned would be 7.40 so 44.40. I'd lose 2.60 for my laziness basically.
Buuuuut, when I bought it, I paid 69 on launch day with the intention of returning, but return and rebought when EB were selling for 47, with the expectation I would get 22 dollars back. For whatever reason, the guy put it through as a match from the full 89 price, which meant I got 20 bucks more than I was expecting to get.
So if I trade the game in and get 44.40, I will lose 2.60, but I made 20 already on it, so I overall have gained 17.40.
If I rebuy the game from Target, 39 - 17.40 = 21.60.
Do I rebuy now, or hold off for when it will inevitably drop further? Or, replay JC1 since it's finally BC?
