Sorry I am not sure. I have already left.
Yup. New models have a 8GB RAM minimum.
thanks
There is no Surface Pro 6 with an m3 (because there was neither a significant m3 CPU refresh, nor a cosmetic updates), so that's more of a leading indicator than the amount of RAM.
Still $400 too expensive.

that hurts
What is love?
dont hurt me no more
Got this myself last year, slightly regret bit going the 8gb go instead, but it's still nice
Has been around this price lately to clear - 2017 model.
Latest model does not come in Core M3
Was $799 @HN Boxing Day sale
They might stop producing the 4GB version, but they won't stop the m3 until the next CPU refresh for it comes along.
I'm amazed that people actually buy surface products if this is a "good" price
If you are after a detachable, there's a lot more options.
For example?
I'd look at things like the HP x2, Lenovo Miix and Acer Switch. I was considering just linking a lmgtfy link but seriously, just give it a Google.
My Wife loves her Lenovo Miix. Came with an i5 chip and got it for $469.00 with a 256 Solid stat from the Auction site 'Lloyds online' - they had a insurance sale on possible box damaged electronics.
In any case, would recommend the Lenovo
@tnarg: But this is new with full warranty. Yours may be as well but is not widely available to everyone like this deal. Not really comparable.
@blergmonkeys: I understand that - Just recommending the Lenovo Miix as a comparative (not the price), but the brand
If you can wait.
Wait for the ms ebay 20%off sale

You get the i5 and the non detached kb.
For the same price.
Im waiting patiently
Don’t know why people are saying this isn’t good. I have this exact model and am a techie (at least 6 computers, 8 google homes, 3 consoles, fully voice controlled lighting at home), but used this to do my notes and study for my gp exams last year. I found it brilliant. Just perfect and now I have my notes for life in electronic form. I think this is perfect for a student or anyone wanting a cheapisj 2 in 1 that won’t do anything too intensive. I do note though, I was able to get rocket league running on it easily.
Alright deal. I just wish manufacturers would stop pushing out laptops with 4gb of RAM, 128gb SSDs and Windows 10.
asus t103ha is a cheap alternative, cpu is an atom z8350, a 1200x800 touch display instead of 2736 x 1824, other components are equivalent, includes a 1024 pressure level pen and slate dock. good for remote/virtual prawn station with hyper-v.
display drivers are fubar on 1809 with hyper-v. but is operational with hyper-v disabled. (5 displays are detected with hyper-v)
$360 USD ~ $540 AUD shipped from Amazon or BHPhotoVideo. wait for a sale.
I got one at 300 USD … and stuck W10Pro on it… Home runs like a bucket of fecal matter with 4GB RAM.
do note: these aren't the LTE model.
The old version?
