    Your wife?

    • Not sure if it would go down well with my wife if I take anyone else :P

      • I guess the humour was that ozbargainers are usually to miserly to deserve a wife so you are special.

        • to too

She'll have to arrive at Female Airport.

How do they do it at such a low price:)

    • I have been following Luxury escapes for a while….and been price hunting on Agoda/booking.com and other sites for various other destination for the next trip, and some of their deals are excellent in terms of value.

I am yet to come across a bad deal on Luxury escapes and they do have good reviews online. Maybe someone else who has used them can add to this.

I've used them multiple times and found them to be good value.

I agree, if you hunt around you may get close to the same price but LE has all the extras bundled in, drinks, massages, meals etc so the prices don't really match in the end. Have used LE at at least 5 destinations in the last few years and overall can't complain.
Like every holiday you can have a bad resort or bad meal, pays to research your accommodation beforehand but even then there are always Neg reviews about any place.

I've done one trip with them, was great ☺

      • The sale period (Offer ends in XX days), is it just a marketing gimmick or is it actually real? eg, you can't get a similar stuff after it ends.

        • The offers with LE generally expire on the stated dates. In some cases, they get extended for a few more days.

This was to expire yesterday, but based on their facebook feedback, they have extended it for an other couple of days.

I've used them and they are tops!

    • They take 100% of the booking fees for no-shows (which are apparently pretty high, as people get excited over a good deal and book irrationally). Otherwise they barely take a cut on bookings and drive huge numbers to hotels that would otherwise operate well below capacity.

  • I'd like to go with the wife of someone rich so she can pay for this.

      MacKenzie Bezos?

      • As Bronn from GoT says …

I've been to this place before, it was amazing… Highly recommended!

Although Luxury escapes has had better pricing in the past. Still a lot cheaper than what it would normally cost!

My missus wants to go there too. Just not with me, someone more like Matthew McConaughey.

If you want to go to a beach resort, go to Fiji for a third of the price.

    • +4

or you can go to bali or thailand for an even cheaper price! but that's not the point of the post. People who know about Maldives want to go there, and know how much is costs, and this is a lot cheaper!

      • +1

Actually I prefer not to go to the same place twice, after you have done Bali or Thailand where do you go? I would rather see something different generally, doesn't mean i wouldn't go back to Fiji or Bali or Thailand though.

        • South Goa?

      • If you live near the beach you can just stay home

We purchased this deal off LE for this resort back in 2017 and travelled in April 2018. Loved it, best holiday ever. Having said that the price has gone up and there are less inclusions in the current deal.
