  • so 10 from groupon then 15 from CR?

    • Yep

      • ok cheap massages, happy wallet

        • -4

          Happy ending

  • +1

CR is based on final purchase price right?

    E.g. Original Groupon = $100
    10% off sitewide = You pay $90
    15% CR = 0.15 x $90 = You get $13.50 from CR

    • +2

Yes that’s right. In this example, 23.5% off

  • I assume we can't stack with the 10pc site wide as it is not listed on cashrewards?

    • +2

You can stack. The code will be live on CR at 4pm AEDT :)

      • So, wait 'till 4pm to make use of it?

        • +3

Code won’t actually work before then.

What is a value voucher? Is that anything that isnt a physical product? Or is it when you pay $5 to get $30 off at another website?

    • Yeah i want to know what a value voucher is. 80% of things on groupon seem like value voucher to me.

Rewards may not be paid if a coupon code is used that is not listed on this site.

I had this happen to me recently. I try and go through Cashrewards when I purchase something but was bummed to find out that because I used a code not given out by CashRewards, my CW's didnt apply though CW had a cashback % for the store.

So had I not used the code I would of got something back from CW. Seems like some sort of BS technicality.

Makes the use of CW much less appealing.

    • +2

You quoted the text from the Cashrewards website, yet you still think its a "technicality"…

      • -1

use whatever term, description you want.

  • I've never used groupon and I saw a 15% for new members with using BRANDNEW code at checkout..

Can this code be used and stacked with the cashrewards 15%?

TA, will this be a code that will be listed also at 4pm?

much the same as the example of the poster above
    i.e $100 with 15% groupon code
    = $85

    Then 15% cashback from cashrewards
    85 x 0.15
    = 12.75 cashback
    total = $72.25

As a poster also asked what is a value voucher?
im thinking of buying a 'buy $100 spend at xyz restaurant for $50" type of groupon deal…is this a value voucher?

Store Rep. Why not 20% cashback. Shopback sometimes does 20%. I have not seen cashrewards.

  • Just used it with the FUNDAY code, hope it goes through..

  • Discount is only valued up to $40. Annoying because what I want to purchase is $999, which would be $99.90 discount, but nope. Capped out at $40 :(

    • This is Cashback (no cap) not a discount

      • I meant in reference to the FUNDAY code.

  • Hey tightarse, any reason the cash rewards website is now geoblocked? Us frequent travellers are essentially blacklisted.

  • So I got some Event Cinemas tickets. Then realised I didn't actually get the full "FUNDAY" 10% off. Turns out the 10% only applies to one of the tickets, not the actual quantity I purchased. Umm, what, why?
Further, now I'm unsure if these count as "value vouchers" (whatever that is), and I might get nothing from Cashrewards.
    Quite a fail.

EDIT: Looks like my cashback has been tracked, so that's a silver lining. Thx CR :)

    • You need to purchase 1 item at a time using the code, it does say in the Groupons T&C's. (I also learnt the hard way)
Contact groupons customer support and they may be able to do a one off for you

      • Thanks mate. Nah I tried customer support immediately afterwards and they said they couldn't help.

  • Can anyone clarify what “Value Vouchers” are?

  • The deal had just Expired

  • +1

Dammit, didn’t realise this was such a short thing. I hate it when they don’t tell you when it’s going to end. I wanted to get something :(
