I had a message from Ebay US for one of my accounts. Subject: A $10 treat for you, xxx
Inside a coupon code that looks quite individual.

Check your email/SPAM folder or log into your account to see if you got this too.

Worked fine using the usual method: find items I like on Ebay.com.au, then change the URL to Ebay.com and add to the cart.

Note: both the discount and the minimum spend are in US$, you need to get your cart to ~AUD42 to get ~AUD14 off.

  Can be used to purchase paypal digital gifts (woolworths cards or ebay cards or whatever else) incidentally. Confirmed to work for UK.

  To do so, find the page selling the aus gift cards on ebay.com.au, then change .com.au to .co.uk (for vouchers in £UK) or .com (for vouchers in $USD) in the URL, log into the ebay account that got sent the $10/£10 (name of account is in the email if you look closely) and put in voucher code at checkout. Voila.

    I think it only works for eBay UK. Got the voucher in my US acct but when I try to apply code it tells me that "the code cannot be applied to some of your items". Made sure the total is above US$30 too.

  Anyone has any luck buying PayPal gift card from an EBay US account? I've successfully done it with ebay UK in the past but in this case it says listing doesn't exist as soon as I add it to cart.

  Time to create eBay US and eBay UK accounts from my 6 gmails already signed up to AU. After that, I’ll create more email accounts and sign those up to AU, US & UK eBay as well. From memory, if you don’t use your account you’ll usually get a coupon for your first spend after 2 months or so - either a something off something spend or a % off with a min spend. Last account I had a 20% off coupon with a min spend but max discount was $50.
