      The A & R chain is owned by https://www.pep.com.au/pages/default.asp who also tried to buy Borders chain recently.
      But who chares, really? before the arrival of Borders in Australia (with their weekly discount vouchers), the price of books in Australia is ridiculously high. There were only Dymocks and A&R back then, enjoying their duopoly. I only buy books from Borders (with voucher) nowadays.
