    • Hi D34thBringer,

This product is from overseas, Australian stock does not have this Green colour available.

      • so if the product is from overseas, the warranty will not be accepted here by Huawei australia?
sorry am not an expert of china mobile and its warranty.

        • Hi D34thBringer,

Yes that is correct. Huawei Australia will only cover official Australian stock.

  • Thanks taffison

Before the whole 'privacy' debate begins, Id just like to point out that while Google and Facebook are certain to be using and abusing data, and the US government is certainly in on the action, I would feel MUCH more comfortable being spied upon by a country that (for the most part) shares vision for the world based on freedom and human rights. China is simply a totalitarian state….

    • +2

      China #1

      • @Pandabargain #1 what? Maker of cheap phones? Size of population? Totalitarianism? Your favorite cuisine?

For those who haven't watched the series Silicon Valley, this is a joke from that, it made me chuckle… so quit the downvotes and go watch one of the funniest series in a long time! :D

    • Totally agree.

Talking about human rights, let me share my experience of the trip home after nye fireworks. We were locked out of the stations, i begged the station staff to let my kids use bathrooms at the station, no rats arse given, cold reply - "they are locked". So much for human right.

Took us 4 hours to get home, we could get home by walking within the time. In china now you could be half way across the country within the time.

What a none sense political comments on a carefully monitored brand. We, technical person believe the science not political scam. To us, washing powder is not politician's chemical weapon,

Every huawei deal is bound to trigger a freakshow of dimwits who live and breath human rights and freedom. Lmao

  • Rep any tablet? Thanks in advance

  • The edited headline makes more sense. I was wondering why anyone would pay $888,360 for a smartphone.

  • No gift card?

  • hey taf..when you have moto g6 on sales?

    over $800+ for the phone? i pass on that..considering around 4xx mark…

    • For local stock, the jbhifi Nokia 7 plus for $440 was great. Hopefully it comes down to that again if you're not in a rush.

      • considered 7 plus but local stock isn't dual sims…G6 also have NFC.

        • The plus does have nfc, but yeah no dual sim.

    • Hi mate,

I've passed on your interest to the team, did you have a particular G6 model (Play or Plus etc) in mind, or just the Moto G6 itself.

  • Up vote for the cheap VR camera toy!

    • For that resolution for 360 it is a bit too low.

  • Nova 3i $495 before discount it is more expensive than most eBay Stores.

    • yeh..connsidering that but so expensive for a phone without NFC

  • +4

Mate 20 pro is very good, but can't help but think it's overpriced. I would wait for the new Nokia 9. That's got my attention!

  • +1

flagship phones nowaday are too expensive

    • yep…Huawei seems to be iphone replacement now

  • Nice deal. Rep do you have deals the super charger of Huawei Mate 20/P 20 phones? My one is broken and I don't trust the ones selling on ebay.

    • Me too - rep any deals on supercharger (both 240v and car charger) or the Huawei powerbank?

    • Hi guys,

I've passed on your interest in the Huawei Fast Charging Power Bank, we will see if we can get it. Thanks.

Just to confirm you mean this right: https://consumer.huawei.com/en/accessories/ap09s/

      • I think they are referring to the wall charger. The Supercharger version. My Mate 9 recently stopped Supercharging for some reason. Very annoying.

  • Thanks Op! Pulled the trigger on the 360 cam for my S9+

  • I'm thinking to get Android phone as an upgrade for my existing iPhone 6S.
The model naming for these Huawei phones is so confusing:
    Mate 20,
    Mate 20 Pro,
    P20,
    P20 Pro

I assume "pro" means minor upgrade to the existing model (similar to "s" in iphone model)?

Can someone recommend which model that's good for photography?
    Thanks.

I have the same decision to make (I have an iPhone X … but hate FaceID and thought about testing out Android. Still not sure. ). From a camera perspective it's either the Mate 20 Pro or the P20 Pro (I would not bother with the basic versions when you want a great camera - both cameras in the Pro models are fantastic and are on the level of the Iphone XS.

Especially in the nighttime the Huawei seems to be much better than the iPhones. Looking at lots of reviews the Mate 20 Pro has the edge over the P20 Pro with a dedicated wide angle lens and a bit better quality. But it is also a big bigger and heavier and of course pricier. I would go for the P20 Pro but you will miss out on wireless charging, the in glass fingerprint sensor and the speedier processing power of the Mate 20 Pro.

There are lots of comparisons out there …

    • +1

Rumours of the P30 and Pro variant are coming out and should be out in the next few weeks/months. I would jump on the P20 pro but I might wait and see. Coming from a Pixel 2 - battery life is bad for me.

      • +2

Battery life on the p20 pro is great over 2 days usage easily for me and I love the camera. Picked it up for $700 from someone who got the telstra deal a month ago and I love it.

        • +1

The Telstra deal is the only thing which holds me off … the phone was so cheap already - maybe I keep my iPhone X and wait for the P30 Pro.

  • Damn, the NM card is expensive! I really wish I could use my old samsung microSD!

  • How about a deal on the Mate 20 X. It's the phone Australian's want! Don't even mind if it's grey.

    • Just bite the bullet and buy from Wonda mobile - they are extremely quick and reliable.

Bought mine from them; arrived in 4 days.

  • thought of getting mate 9…deals already done?

    mate 9 have dual sims+NFC+compass?

  • awwww… just saw this deal.
