  I just started using Canon compatible inks from Ink Station and one of the cartridges didn't work but once I emailed through they sent out a replacement immediately.

Perfect timing. My brother printer was starting to run low and I was hoping to avoid paying OEM prices for ink.

I think the general consensus is how much you give a (profanity) about the long term quality. I am printing documents that I am using short term so don't worry about fading etc over time. If print quality is a necessity for your business I would go originals - if it's not that important and it's for home use (not grandkids photos) go for compatible.

A lot more expensive than eBay ones, there a quality difference? Obviously looking at the Epson Workforce WF-2750 from the other deal…

  I know that my ebay cartridges no longer work with my Epson wf-2630 due to a firmware upgrade that only allowed genuine Epson cartridges to work. Not sure if it's the case with the new 2750.
