  • I don't even need this and I still bought it lol. Oh well, presents for next year??

  • Seems it's either always been or often on sale at this price on their ebay store. Reviews are pretty bad. Flimsy plastic that breaks easy and blades that cant cut.

    • Oh didn’t know that. Is there a link to the reviews?

Crap i bought one of these from TV for $109

    • +3

Was that the $299 down to $109?

      • +2

They did say if you were to buy those knives you could spend over $300+

    • +1

not to worry, it will last heaps longer than this one, and the blades will stay sharp… will be made from decent material.

    • +1

At least you don't have to pay for this one in 4 easy payments.

  • +3

Has always been $19 i bought 1 a while back for $19 not a bargain sorry

    • +1

As well as being kogan cheap crap…

  • +2

worst part about these is washing up after you use them, absolute pain in the ass. we dont use ours because its quicker over all just to use a knife etc.

  • This is 6$ shipped from China lol@ RRP

Here is one from K Mart. Same price. Not a deal unfortunately. https://www.kmart.com.au/product/multi-grater,-slicer-and-di…

  • I bought this $9 previously from Kogan.

    • Any good or landfill?

  • If you are after a quality one (yes, will be less of a bargain), try the higher end Borner V-Slicer ones. Unfortunately they also make lower end ones too that aren’t great (cut ok but don’t dishwasher well), bringing down the brand name (which is a silly move because I don’t think they make anything else but these slicers?).

    Target $10.

    • Actually? Wow I'll see if I cancel my order haha - too keen!

      • These type slicer is terrible to use.

I would suggest getting the ones with triangle blade setup.

  • No way was $79 previously. I'd know, I have one in my cupboard.
And I wouldn't have paid any more than $19….if that.

  • Don't buy this. Waste of money.

  • +2

learn it the hard way, wasted 45 bucks a while back getting these two junks.. DONT BUY!

  • Yeah I had 1 of these. Used it once and don't rate it at all. I have a mandolin which I bought at the Adelaide show a few years ago and is much better. And also no way I would have paid full price 🤣

    Price Hipster says normally $15

$79 is just a jacking to make it sound like it’s on Sale when reduced to $19

      Report accc

    • +1

Yep their graphs shows usually 15-19 but you see occasional jacks to $80.

Definitely something that should be reported to ACCC as bti_jet mentions.

  • This product is useless, rusts easily and get blunt quickly. It's very easy to cut yourself when using it too. Cheap plastic garbage!
