    • +1

a productive comment … wow its a Christmas miracle!!!

    • You have tried a vpn

      • +1

The Australian account doesn't work with it, you create an Indonesian account.

        • Username checks out…

  • +11

    Create an indonesian account
    Get the offer
    Put the account as primary
Use your main as secondary to use the psn+
    Profit??

    • Thanks mate :-)

    • I can pay with au cc?

      • It didn't work with my aussie CC and no paypal option.

        • Can someone tell me how to pay?

    • +1

Been doing this for years, I've never had PS+ on my aussie account.
US account when the exchange rate was good 8 years ago, then Indonesian.

Only thing you miss out on is Vita stuff (irrelevant now), free Avatars (who cares) and save clould sync.

      • Or just don't sub at all. It's worthless for casuals

  • +1

Has anyone made more posts than being askhole in a single year?

    He/she is truly amazing

    • …it O.o

    • Maybe they are paid to do this.

  • Careful you don’t get ban.

  • I share my current ps plus with my gf, my account is activated as primary on her PS4 but I use my account on my PS4 to play online. How would I share an Indonesian one if I was to make a new account but want to use my current psn account to play ?

    • She would have to play on the indonesian account, I don't think you can put 2 accounts as primary

      • Hmmm that sucks, don’t think either of us want to use a new name. Cheers

    • How would I share an Indonesian one if I was to make a new account but want to use my current psn account to play ?

The easiest way is to get another girlfriend.

One with the Aussie account and one with the Indonesian account. That way you don't need to log on and off all the time…

      • I like this idea, especially when next time there’s a Russian, Brazilian deal, etc

  • +5

    Way too much buggering around

    • You're doing it wrong…

  • How long are the codes valid for if purchased? I have a US account as primary but the PS+ on it doesn't finish until end of 2019. So if I can buy the indo code now, plan on using it in 2020

    • -5

      The codes stack

      • +2

Indo code doesn't stack with US subscription.

I googled it and PS codes should last at least 3 years without being redeemed.

        • Indo code doesn't stack with US subscription.

It stacks with an Indonesian account.

          • @jv: I didn't ask if it stacks with indo account. I asked how long I can keep the indo code without redeeming it because I already have US PS+ subscription.

            • -3

              @FeZZa21:

I didn't ask if it stacks with indo account.

              My reply was though…

        • Any downside to just setting myself up a indo account as my main one? I dont have one yet and if thats the only diff then idc

          • @Seedy seed: No difference to AU account since both are in the same region so you can redeem DLC codes you get in games sold locally here on your indo account.

            • @FeZZa21: Thanks

              • @Seedy seed: I've actually decided to not go with this deal because my primary is US so when PS+ runs out on that I won't be able to play its free games that I've collected for the past 5 years.

Not sure if this will work with those that have AU free games collection either, even though AU and Indo are in the same PS region.

            • @FeZZa21: Not true man.
At least with PS3 Asian games are BLAS/BCAS coded whereas Aussie/UK/EU games are BLES/BCES coded, so DLC is not transferable.

Asian games are Region 3, no DLC will work as far as I know.
              PS3 (PS4?) Regions are:
              UK/EU/AU
              US
              JP
Asia (INDO, HK, Taiwan, Philippines etc.)
              Korea

If you buy everything digital you won't have any issues though.

    • +2

It's not a special price by the way.
This is the usual price. It's was cheaper on Black Friday so there is no rush.
Just do this when you're US one ends.

  • I used my 28Degrees card but doesn't work with random Indonasian address or my Australian address

    • I've revoked my +, haven't read anyone that have paid for this successfully

      • +1

Just buy PSN credit via offgamer.
I made a post about it before.

I only use PS+ on my Indonesian account, it's great.

Also OP Super Stardust Ultra (Star Strike Ultra) and Journey PS4 are only Rp1500ish at the moment (<$2au) which is the cheapest ever by far.

        • Thanks mate. Appreciate it :)

  • +1

    HI EVERYONE
YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A PREPAID INDONESIAN PSN CARD FROM THE LIKES OF A WEBSITE SUCH AS OFFGAMERS IN ORDER TO REDEEM THIS DEAL
YOUR AUSTRALIAN CREDIT CARD WILL NOT WORK

    THANK YOU FOR READING

    • Thanks mate..added into OP

      • A 400,000 Indonesian PSN card is $44.69 so to use 350,000 for this deal it works out to be around $40 not $34, am I correct?

        • Yeah.. near to that price. I didn't knew that earlier and simply used currency converter Rp 350,000 = AU $34

        • Well it's $44 unless your going to use that 50k RP which I doubt

    • +1

      stop shouting

    • +4

      TERIMA KASIH BANYAK UNTUK INFORMASINYA

  • So seems to come to $44 as you can only get 400000 RP on offgamers.

    • +1

you can use the remaining $10 or so to buy other games, so its not a waste.

  • -7

jesus christ, just pay the extra $30 aud guys… it pays for itself in free games 10fold.

  • +2

If you've had plus before you'll lose access to your earlier claimed games if you change region.

So only really worth it if new to plus. Or have no interest in your previously claimed games.

    • -1

But a new account is being created, this one will be the primary account on the PLaystation and is being used to give access to PS Plus and games on your AU account.

      • +3

While you can share PS Plus across accounts, Miso was talking about existing PS Plus free games you collected. For example:

You have a main PS4 AU account and you collected free games (i.e. MGS V, Bloodborne, Ratchet and Clank etc).. If you now create a SEA PS account and only keep PS Plus SEA active on that account and let you AU PS Plus expires, once your AU PS Plus expires, those AU PS Plus games you collected previously will no longer be playable (unless you later decide to buy AU PS Plus).

And, there is one other thing: let's assume you have both AUS and SEA PS Plus in Jan 2019 with AUS one expiring some time in Jan 2019. If you decide to play Steep through your AUS PS Plus membership first, once your AU membership expires, you will have to re-download the SEA version (despite it being English version) and saved games are most likely incompatible (so essentially, you might need to re-play from the beginning).

  • +2

    Note:

    • PS Plus free games are region specific. The free games you get could also be different titles each month between regions.

PS Plus Asia (inc. SEA) PS Plus PAL region (inc. AUS)
Dec 2018 Gravity Rush 2; God Eater 2: Rage Burst Onrush; Iconoclasts; SOMA
Jan 2019 Steep; Tom Clancy's The Division Steep; Portal Knights; Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion

    • Key games will even out eventually so AU PS Plus will get Gravity Rush 2 and Tom Clancy's The Division later next year.

    • In general, SEA region have less total free games in the long run compared to AUS region (e.g. over one year period).
    • Unless you already have an account in the correct region, you will need to create a new account - which does mean all the PS Plus games collected on your main AU account won't be playable.
    • Saved games are quite often not compatible. Only a small number of games offer a save game converter.
    • Certain games have O and X swapped - you cannot swap them back.

The way Sony PS4 deal with various different region versions of the same game is not ideal (even if both are English versions). Even digital vs physical versions of the same game in the same region are considered different versions - requiring a re-download. In that regard, the Microsoft system is better.

So, if you have little to no backlog to your current "free" PS Plus games and don't mind not able to play them by switching region, SEA PS Plus membership is cheaper consistently. The O and X swapped games are a bit annoying (e.g. Bloodborne, Knack). Personally, I found most free games are games that I decided not to buy (they are not in my list of must play games) or games I bought, played and sold.

However, if you have years of PS Plus in AUS region, changing region is probably not a good idea.

    Offgamer sells 400k card for $44.93 + 10% (GST) + processing fees = $51.48

    • Use a US address (and I also to be safe pay in USD via a no conversion fee card) to avoid GST.
