How long after joining do you get the card?

  • Can also confirm that Hif has excellent customer service (just remember their hours are based on Perth time) so with the extra $100 it's a strong incentive indeed!
Claimed dental recently which was a flawless process.

Also note that the referral box description is outdated and only referrers get a $70 gift card and in the past members have split the value.

    • Sorry what does "in the past members have split the value" mean? the link says access denied

Been mulling over health insurance for a while and think I'll finally switch over to HIF in the next couple of days. They previously offered 6 weeks free which worked out much better if you take out a high level of cover. Customer service told me last time they had that promotion was 2 years ago so don't hold your breath.. He also told me they have the highest payout ratio, although the government comparison website disputes that (maybe numbers are outdated?) They also offer a discount for paying annually or semi-annually which I like. Thanks for the post op, I'll use your referral when I finally bite the bullet!

  • I just signed up to Frank the other day, they are offering 2nd month free which might be better for higher end plans.

    • Could you post a link to the 2nd month free?

      • It looks like the promotion finished on 31/12/18.

  • Is anyone willing to split the $70 referral with me half-half? PM me :)
