Once you have set up your account you can change the payment method to Bpay which will stop any further charges.
I would like to stick up for amysim, if they are the subject of your gossip. I am not affiliated just a customer: if I have a question for them I choose an email conversation whereby they list the response time and we converse back and forward to my satisfaction, I am quite pleased with the customer service.
I already got the deal from the 12th with $50 cash back from cash rewards for the $40 plan. If I buy this account am I considered a new customer, if I get a new number and use a new email?

the answer is yes as it's considered a new promotion. Please note however that you still need to meet Amaysim's terms with respect to whether they consider you to be a new customer or not. Maybe look through some previous deals and you should be able to find the info you're after. Merry Christmas :)
