So this is a limited version of Ableton Live 10 that you normally get with hardware purchases. Buying this app is a way to get it for $7.99 - a serial is provided with the app. It's limited to 8 tracks, but still is a very powerful bit of software for the low cost. And you get the app, too.     FL Studio is a lot more beginner friendly though. If you're using these you're probably making EDM and for that I think FL is the best for beginners.

  For anyone else who was stumped by the lack of prompt or emails for the Ableton Live Lite 10 license:

  • In the Triqtraq app, go to Menu, then Export, and choose "Ableton Live Set".
  • You should see a link that says "Don't own Live? Get Ableton Live 10 Lite". Just tap on that and enter your email.
  • You'll get an email from Ableton with a license after that.
