            @theknight27: Think I said that someone at "work" had received $10 goodwill credit and the person offered to put a $5 credit on my account which I quickly accepted.

    For single player and local 1v1, great price.

    But believe me, even at this price, this is useless if you intend to play multiplayer and require Ronaldo to be at Juventus instead of Madrid. i.e. squad updates.

    EA do a poor job looking after the older games.

      Can you explain more? On the fifa 16 back cover it says 1-4 players on xb1 (not live). Is it different for this one

      Hoping a few of us could play at once not just 1v1

        Locally you can play whatever, my general gripe with the 'older' Fifa games is that they do not age well as EA neglect them so you go and buy the newer ones with updated squads.

      I played fifa 14 on my ps3 until I upgraded this year and I just did edit clubs and transferred players based on where they moved to… basically manual transfers lol. Pretty silly but kept my squads updated myself for years.

      FIFA 19 is not going to go down to $9 or lower anytime soon.

      By the time it's that price, FIFA 20 will be out and you'll be asking the same thing.

        I traded in the Switch version for 20 something, AND got the 15 buck eShop voucher from the Fortnite deal, and only paid 10 bucks for it from Amazon on a whim when I happened to be buying some other stuff at the time anyway to bump up to free delivery.

          Yeah I did the same thing, but with PS4 (accidentally bought that instead of XB1 copy) - around $17 + free $15 Xbox Gift Card - had free delivery from prime and paid via Amazon GC which I won :D

            @pennypincher98: Actually, (profanity), I remember now. I think I had 10 bucks from using their Amazon Video thing on a trial at the time too. I've only made two orders through Amazon so it either took a tenner off this, or a tenner off a slab of Coke they had on sale.

            I think it was this.

            I remember ordering Crash on Switch for 49, got two games from the BOGOF they had at the time (one with an amiibo too) that totaled 11 bucks. And FIFA for 10 which made it 60, after the tenner back, I think there was a minimum spend to get the 10 bucks off code though? Maybe I bought one more thing, I don't remember entirely, but I remember that stuff.

            I traded one of the BOGOF games (Super Stardust PS VR) for I think 8 bucks, which got the bonus 15 VBucks.
            I traded the other, Chibi Robo 3DS (and gave the amiibo to a friend who loves them) for 6, which got the 15 VBucks (back when the minimum trade was 5).
            Then eventually I caved and traded FIFA on the next Fortnite deal for 22 (roughly, I think) and 15 eShop too.

            So give or take based on my forgetfulness, I spent around 60 bucks, and got $81 EB / eShop and a copy of Crash day one delivered to my door to show for it. Good investment, or?

    If you're happy to play single player/campaign/career then FIFA 18 is more than suitable for this season. Solid price right here.

    If you're a sucker like me and play FUT and can't understand what fun feels like, then wait for FIFA 19 to drop in price.

    From a gameplay perspective, I still prefer FIFA 18 - there are some strange behaviours and catch up mechanics that have been injected into FIFA 19 that are highly frustrating.

    A big plus for FIFA 18 is the World Cup modes if anyone is into that.

    If you want official International football tournament then it is unlikely you will get one in a FIFA game till at at least FIFA 22!!
