In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, but rather as a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with a lack of food, medicine, and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle.
At $3, no brainer. Brilliant game and the developer kept releasing content for five years after release. Don't use guides for the first several playthroughs.
Complete Ed gives adds the care of dependants - kids (you can't give them an AK and send them scavenging/robbing the neighbours though, rofl), and 3x standalone DLC scenarios that add decent amount of game time each.
Single dad with a sick kid, the handicapped rogue broadcaster focusing on choice/consequence and the last DLC was a large one as a museum curator.
Completed normal and the dad with sick kid campaigns. Only complain ive had with this game is the vague explaination of interactions of item effects, actions, etc. Had to look at online guides to get true description of interactions, for example: one canned food removes 2 units of hunger, where as one raw food only removes one.
I've wanted to play this for a while but I've tried a few times to purchase and my order keeps being cancelled, used different payment methods etc. not sure what the issue is.
Shame because it's a good price.

I really think everyone should play this game, it give somewhat of the sense of the horrors of war on the ordinary citizens in a war torn country.
