    Nice. Your move cashrewards

  • +2

ShopBack refuse to give me credit after the flash sale 12%. And no explanation.

    • Hi LeeGeng,

Would like to look into this further as to why - please PM us your SB email address and we'll see what's up.

      • Hi mate can you please look into mine too. I will PM you. I only went with you guys instead of Cash Rewards for the first time and it's not a good first impression. 100% added the product to cart after clicking through. Thanks.

          Hi HereBobButtons,

Cashback has already tracked to your account this morning. As indicated on this page, please allow up to 4 days for tracking to appear on your account.

          • @gotyourback: Thank you, you are correct it's come through now. Thanks for the quick response!

      • +3

What are you talking mate? They use almost same tracking methods and I have had no issues with both. Go for whatever has better rates.
Don't over shout privacy when you are using cashback sites as they are already tracking your sales.

        • -2

I understand that cashback sites mean I give up some level of privacy but I would rather my info was being used by an Australian based site with proper registrations etc than some Asian company that doesn’t even have offices here. Sorry but I stand by my statement. Shopback is not worth the risks in my opinion and their “fail to pay consumer while they get paid for the tracking” system means they are a no go for me.

          • @jimbobaus: lol. Are you sure Cashrewards are storing your info in AU or overseas servers? Do you know what else is tracked online when you shop or browse overseas without you knowing? If not, lets stop this discussion.

Shopback are Singapore based and has tough rules on privacy as well. I am no advocate of Shopback and shop with best rate as I said earlier.
As a customer, I want good cashbacks and love healthy competition with better rates and support both.

Australian based also which to me gives me a lot more confidence re privacy

        HAHAHA LMFAO

      • Have you used the app? Never missed ine on it.

CR new app is also reliable

      • +1

I can second that. Not sure why are getting begged for pointing out the facts. I had 3 transaction not tracked even though on the click history it is recorded. Send enquiry and received some crap reply like clear cache.CR hasn't missed a single cash back for me yet.

    • You probably did not add the item AFTER clicking through shop back, this miss probably makes up 99% of the 'I did not get my CB' claims

      • Along with adblock being turned on. Cashback sites can easily see if it is :)

      • -1

Always click cash back site as last click before purchase
        Don’t use ad block.
Shopback is unreliable at best and I stand by my statement.

    • Exact same here, I can confirm I put it in the cart after clicking through

    • Their rejection letters are canned. They will list all possible reasons why it's rejected, even when you've told them none of those apply to you.

You have to respond further if you want them to actually put a person onto looking into it for you.

  • Beat me to it -_-

    • Where does that keyword exist?

    • Keyword? It is capped at $50 and is 10%. If you take into account the cash back is off the pre gst price and that multiple items may track separately then you know exactly what you will actually get.

    • +1

      Confirming it's a flat 10% with a $50 cap.

  • And I've been hit by the famous "out by a few hours" - always someone… , just did some Xmas shopping last night through shopback.

  • +1

Worth waiting to see if CR will bring it to 12%?

  • -1

50 cap per transaction? Whats the reason for this if you can just put through multiple transactions?

    • +1

I guess u cannot split a big TV into multiple transactions?

  • Can you get cashback on overseas Amazon sites?

    • Hi tranter, you can only get cashback on Amazon.com.au.

    • +1

Look at an item at amazon.com and add .au after .com in the address. It works for many items I have tried in the past. Prices change in AUD as you would expect including GST.

omg, I first though, wtf I didn't post or remember posting this… then i looked closer lolol

  • I have the same question.. need to buy Dyson from overseas amazon site. Is cash back applicable?

    • Hi VSIN001,

Cashback is only applicable for items purchased on Amazon.com.au. If the Dyson device is sold by Amazon US on Amazon.com.au, then that's fine, as long as the transaction is made on Amazon.com.au.

  • Is it like cash rewards where you need to add to cart after opening website?

    • +1

      Hi Owgasm,

Yes you must only add items to your cart after clicking through ShopBack, otherwise cashback will not track.

      • Is there an easy to add something into cart on amazon? As in do i have to search for it again (eg there’s multiple sellers)

        • You can have all your items open in separate tabs. Then add each to your cart after clicking through ShopBack.

          • @gotyourback: Thanks, ordered through shopback because you guys were first… anyways hopefully i clicked through and added everything okay.. you can look after me if something is wrong ;)

  • If you obtain $50 cash back form the previous 20% promo, are you entitled to more cash back from amazon?
Does the $50 capped reset from last time? Or is it $50 capped for the account since creation?

    • Hi congo,

Yes that's fine, $50 cap is per transaction.

      • Update: Uncapped now

        • Hi if I purchased just before uncapping, will I receive capped or uncapped cash back?

          • +1

            @MunkyX: Hi MunkyX,

            You'll received uncapped cashback :)

  • I saw on the ShopBack app it was 10% yesterday but then it became 6%.

    Can anything be done?

    • +1

      Hi Rakddon,

Where in the app were you seeing this? Can confirm 100% we weren't running 10% at all yesterday.

      • I searched Amazon.com.au and saw 10% so i proceeded with ordering and payment.

All good, not a big issue.

  • cashrewards the best…

    • Wrong deal post

Cr matched but atleast shopback was proactive

  • i paid through the app i.e the shopback app. how long does it take to track?

    • Hi porsche26c,

Amazon purchases take up to 4 days to track.

      • +1

thanks. ill await the tracking. 1st time using you guys.

  • Is cashback available for Amazon digital eBooks purchased from Amazon.com.au?

    • Hi congo,

      Yes indeed!

  • +1

All I can say is that I now do all my transactions with shopback after cash rewards stuffed me around with Amaysim. Never had an issue w shopback so far!
