For their new home automation section.

To make money, why you ask?
by your logic, they should sell every item on the planet
That's Mustafa in Singapore. They actually do sell every item on the planet.
Well they sell HDMI and Ethernet cables.
Officeworks price match $45.60.
Would be fun to see if Bunnings would then price match that..
2x Amazon Echo Dot (2nd Gen) for $49. Throw in a $5 fabric case each for parity.
Google need to drop the price by almost half for it to be attractive. Post Boxing Day sale perhaps?
Google are giving them away with absolutely everything, I don't think they actually expect anyone to pay even close to full price.
I didn't get one with my new Pixel XL 2 yesterday, would have loved one :(
Where did you get it from? I got one with the Pixel I got my wife a week ago or so.
@pdtmathieson: JB's deal yesterday.
@mr fox: Telstra website still has them on most phones, maybe ring them up and see if you can scab one?
I have both Echo Dot and GHM. All of us prefer the latter.
Or probably add a bit, then, it's like buy 1 Google home mini + free mobile phone?
https://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/prepaid-mobiles/tel…
I was able to purchase this $39 phone in-store and got the free google home mini. https://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/prepaid-mobiles/alc…
Same here. Bought one in store for $39
Best deal for a mini, might grab one.
Unless you are binning the phone, it is worth the extra $10 for the Essential Plus model.
For a mini? That's a bargain???
The price isn't great from what we've seen, but would they price match as an identically stocked item
why bunnings sell something like this?
