340 was so attractive until I saw your comment.
$340 is good, $250 was a one-off "damn we ordered waaaaayyyy too many of these things" sale IMO, also lots of orders got stuffed up and cancelled. Not likely to be repeated. I bought at $350 from TRU before they shut down and was stoked at that price (lots better than the ~$700 used prices prior to re-release).
That 50% deal was a one off, most stores had waaaay too many and had to make room for different Lego.
For that price you may as well fly there and see the real thing. A few years ago we got Airasia fares from KL to Delhi for $10 one way and $120 to return.
Yeah, you can save money on a Lego Ferrari by going to a dealer and looking through the window too.
Same with the millennium falcon. Just watch a star wars movie…….. /s
$315 each way to India to see the real thing or $339 to have a plastic toy to look at. I know which one I’d choose. I think this a bit more affordable than your Ferrari analogy.
