really, what was wrong with it? should i return this?
Floor pumps at $30 are kinda the normal/usual price to me.
Go to torpedo7.com.au for example and view all the floor pumps they have there. And that's just one online bike retailer. There's heaps more.
As to the quality of the pump look at the valve and locking mechanism whether it is plastic, firm or flimsy.
Probably only as good as this one.

just tried it on my bike, the pump is not bad. Works very well. I think this is much better than ones from Big W
Try this one from cell bikes if you want a better price. $8.95 plus shipping.

It's not perfect but does the job.
When doesn't Kathmandu have a 50% off sale?
Bargain?? I got a similar looking pump from ANACONDA on sale at $10.
Bah don't waste money on crappy floor pumps.
Get a good one, like a Lezyne Micro Floor Drive.
Cost me about $60 from the UK, made of steel/alloy and can get in HV/HP.
worst pump i have EVER used - run run RUN away!
