I consider this an EXCELLENT bargain based on my visit in January.

The full normal menu is available and the service was great and the food great value, and very nice, on our visit.

I checked the menu and the most expensive items were normally $160 - so they understated the potential savings :)

Several members have documented their views here on OzBargain. Tip: ask for a little extra spice unless you like your Indian very mild, and (having read other comments) maybe service is better the earlier you get there.

      I know - surprised me - make up your own mind … but I'm confidently recommending it.

      I went and - at $29 - it was a FANTASTIC deal … as good as any, apart from freebies, I've had here. And at $49 its still a very very good deal imho, based on my visit.

      Having said that I've no vested interest.

        same here, bought the $29 deal, was suprisingly good.
        the food was fresh and even though the portion is small as with all curry dishes, the amount you get will fill you up for sure.

        the service was not bad either.
        one only thing lacking was desert.
        only have choice of 2 ice cream or some odd, very sweet indian fried thing.
        which i didnt like.
        they didnt have the special indian ice cream, would've like to try that.

    I want to go but my partner has absolutely 0 interest in Indian food. :(

      I can't imagine having no interest in Indian food … (I was spoilt for great cheap Indian when I was living in the UK)

      … thought you'd be sleeping after your busy work weekend, and all those clicks on Maybelline ;)

          I make a mean butter chicken … lots of cream, tomato puree, secret ingredient ;) … and my version is a quick one too :) … think I'll make it tomorrow.

          When a male refers to using a 'secret ingredient' in cooking, I'm always a tad suspicious. I think that's just to do with my Catholic all girls schooling.

    I've been (on a voucher deal) and it's very nice. Excellent deal, jump on it.

    (Be aware that it's a bistro/café, not a restaurant.)

    Edit: You do wonder exactly what sort of a tool could neg this comment…

        (And I think anyone who's been around here for a while has a fair idea who the persistent tools are, anyway. They're a constant, and the mods don't care how stupid they are, as long as they keep coming here.)
