Seems to be quite a good offer seeing that you do receive minimum 6% interest on your savings on top of the bonus(more depending on the savings account you opt with)
I know theres quite a few incentives for joining up to banks at the moment eg. the latest ING Special but me being a rugby fan i find this to be quite a good offer.

Seems to include all games in Australia, so just not to home games.

Not sure of the exact value for the merchandise pack but it includes a polo top, scarf and a hat!

    Good deal, but not for me. Rebels have already played the REDS in Brisbane, so I won't get a chance to see them!

    Compared to ING where you just show your ID at the post office and then it's done, the process of mailing in notarized ID to verify your account seems primitive!

      Agreed. I've never signed up to ING due to the length of time and effort to sign up.
      The 30 dollars bonus hardly seems worth it for anyone with a full time job.

      I never had to do that when i opened my RaboDirect account.

      All they required was for me to print out the application form after submitting it through their website, sign it and post it back to them with a copy of my drivers licence.

      I did not need to have anything notarized.

      ING where you just show your ID at the post office

      I did not have to do that either.

      There must be several application types depending on what information they are able to discover about you while you are filling in the application form.

      Doesn't have a limit i don't believe.
      Seems like a good safe haven for your extra cash until the next promotional offer from the next bank!

          no problems - i couldn't see anything either - but apparently I won't get a digipass for 5 days so i guess that means I can't transfer it out again for a week or so.
