  • Thanks OP. Up to 30%

    • +28

Not a very nice way to welcome a brand new poster. Maybe take the time to explain to him exactly why you neg'd his deal.

      • I didn’t see it but still upvoted yours

Up to 30% is better than a maximum of 0% discount.

  • very good deal. thank you

so which one is 30% off ?

  • +1

It never a good deal UP TO 30%. You hardly find anything 30% off. Maybe one item which noone wants.

    • +2

Yes I've had a look, can't find a thing worth the effort ……

    It's the Cashies 15% that makes this worthwhile .. :-) .. !!

  • +1

    Max discount $40 as usual.

    Poo

  • So far only seeing 5%

    • +1

Yeah, restaurants are usually 5% when there's a variable discount, so I don't even bother with these "mystery" discounts much any more (precisely because there is zero mystery at all). A flat 10% or 15% discount site-wide is far preferable in general for restaurants, especially when it can be stacked with cashback for an effective 25% to 30% discount.

      • The xmas30 code has been extended. Initially until midnight 5/12 but I received an email this morning. The discount rates have changed too. I checked this deal yesterday and it was 5%. Its now 10%

  • Good deal, thanks OP

Has anybody needed to use the 7 business day cooling off period with Groupon? https://www.groupon.com.au/faq#editing_or_cancelling_an_orde…

Want to buy a deal as the discount is tempting (25%, plus 15% cashback), but there's a slim chance I'd have to cancel it within 1-2 business days

    • Yup, I have had on previous occasions sought a genuine refund from Groupon help, online chat. My reason was the vouchers were too high minimum spend (Woolworths Vouchers) and the expiry dates were in several weeks. I am not able to purchase so many items from Woolies and would need to return the extra vouchers. I bought 5 but had to return 4

    • let us know what is 25% off.

      • It's an optometrist in Concord Sydney NSW. https://www.groupon.com.au/deals/concord-eye-care
        (pretty specific deal)
I just am not sure whether my health insurance will cover enough of my glasses cost or whether I'll have to pay out of pocket further. If so then I would use the deal.

  • +1

Choose carefully. It is not worth the trouble getting refund for just a few dollars less.

  • -2

Can’t see why Groupon can’t even do a simple logo change for 30% Groupon wide, fact of lazyness, popularly would spread I’d they have better discounts.

  • Well my mystery discount was 0.8% or $1.08 not worth it to me owewew $1

  • It seems beauty treatments like spas and such are 15%
