In my own experience with the phone, it's quite usable obviously pretty slow but still bearable. Decent enough battery, the screen isn't bad as well. For $90 it'd make a good spare phone.
Even with $50 unlock fee, that's a great price.
A pity you cannot pay it using the SIM credit, like Telstra allows. (can you?)

It can be unlocked for free via chat if you are already a vodafone customer or know someone who is a customer, ask nicely since you will be going overseas for a holiday and need to use this phone.
