Edit. Just got them now… exactly 4hrs after purchase… 5 emails - one for each $100.
I stupidly made a purchase of 2 cards without entering in the discount code. I've tried to have it refunded before the card is emailed out but I don't think they will get the refund request before this happens. What are my chances of getting it refunded? Slim to none? Is there any way of contacting them?

can. they are not tied in one ebay account when UNused. but once you use partially they cant be used on other account - thats what i heard

I think it comes down to verification of the buyer, I get mine instant every time, but others take ages, must be something to do with how long the account has been running for / activity
true i just check the email order and email gift cards actually they are in the same minute - instant. the problem last week bought 2x100 (with different 5% off code) and now i cant buy 3x 100, maximum i can buy is 2x100. weird.

I have a few questions about this -
From terms and conditions:
"Redemption. To redeem this offer during the Offer Period, enter the redemption code PCARD5 into the redemption code box during the checkout process. This code cannot be used in conjunction with any other eBay offer, coupon or voucher. You can only use the redemption code 1 time during the Offer Period."
This seems to indicate that:
A. You cannot use a code at the same time as the voucher; and
B. If you use the card to purchase a $50 item, the remaining $50 will not be refunded to you or available for future purchases.
Can anyone clarify whether this is correct?
You're taking it the wrong way, this is what it means:
A. You can't use any other voucher (such as PERCENT5" to "stack" discounts. It also means that you can't use a gift card to buy this gift card.
What you're getting confused with is that after you purchase this, in a separate transaction you can use this with a voucher such as PERCENT5.
B. If you purchase a $50 item, the remaining credit will remain in your account for a future purchase.

You should message the seller. They told me to contact them if I didn't receive the codes within 4 hours. It took 4 hours ~10 minutes to receive mine.

Tried to buy this with the wife's account as mine was ineligible due to recently purchasing… PayPal stuffed up (still waiting for a solution) and so it sat in the cart.
EBay then emailed saying:
"You've left this in your basket. (……) Don't forget – enter PCARD5 to get AU $5.00 off this item. Valid until 31 Dec, 2018. Item ends at 21 Dec, 2018 09:23 AEDST"
