  • Would they be powerful enough to dry the water off your car after its wash ?

    • +3

yes. And powerful enough to blow out the crap from the interior too. way faster and easier than vacuuming.

      • Why haven't I thought of that sooner? The amount of crap a 1 and 3 year old generate in the car is phenomenal.

and then blow it all to the neighbours yard.

        • @eciuj: Hopefully he's your neighbour

        • Park outside someone else's house. After all, it's cordless

  • You call 28th of March recent?

  • I have one and it is excellent.

Use it for leaf blowing up my driveway.

    Aaaaa+++++.

  • Hmm, got too many batteries and chargers already but hard to resist buying!!

  • isn't a mulching vac better?

100db lol. louder than a mower

This would make an awesome bbq starter.

    Strapped to a pushie ?

  • At first the quoted 810m³/h max air volume seemed a little underwhelming, but after reading this article I am reassured it's pretty decent in terms of its capacity:

810m³ = 28,605ft³ = ~477m³ per minute, placing it somewhere between a high end hand held and a midrange back pack model (the machines referred to in the article are all petrol).

The batteries work with other Ozito gear, don't they?

  • I have been considering buying the layest Ego brand blower but the skin only is $239 (I already have the whipper snipper so have a battery). I tested a friend's Ego unit and was very impressed. Decided to buy this deal instead as on paper the volume per hour is within about 10% of the Ego. I have to say that I am very impressed with it. I haven't tested them side by side but it seems to compare favourably with the Ego from what I can remember.

I would expect the Ozito to have heaps more power than that Ryobi. I have one and think it is great for the money.

  • Purchased and impressed with performance. Bit on the heavy side but not too tiring for clearing out double garage and double driveway in one session. Variable speed adjust great for light dust indoors and turbo button for quick bursts where necessary (corners, edges, etc). Loud on max speed but you should be wearing ear (and eye) protection anyway.
