Original MERCS was amazing back when it first launched.
The deck of cards system was brilliant.
Dont know how well it will hold up visually in 2018.
It's Xbox One X enhanced at least - that's certainly spruced up nicely the other original Xbox games I've played, so I'm hopeful this one would follow suit.
Vaguely remember playing this back in the day but can't recall anything about deck of cards system. Hoping it'll be awesome then on my X.
There were 52 HVTs and they were ranked as a deck of cards. 4 aces were the 4 leaders of the factions as I remember.

Not really, credits from MS rewards are better spent elsewhere (sometimes MS offer a discount to redeem a $5 voucher). The GamePass on MS rewards is basically RRP. With regular discounts on GamePass, you are better off getting the discounted ones. I've redeemed multiple $5 vouchers and purchased apps/games.
Yeh that's what I did. Redeemed $5 MS credit for 3500 points. So I get 1 month gold and still have $4 left. All for doing a few searches :)

Honestly, I'm stoked to see an OG Xbox game on Gold.
I already have Battlefront 1 & 2, SSX 3, Full Spectrum Warrior, Dead to Rights, Ninja Gaiden, Fusion Frenzy, Ghoulies, KOTOR, Black, and a couple of others installed, so it's dope that I'm gonna finally get to play Mercenaries, had my eye on it for a bit now.
Still though, not an amazing month, but I'm stoked on that game.
Q.U.B.E. 2 isnt currently available in Australia, they may switch that out for something else.
The good stuff is all at Game Pass.
