PlayStation 4 Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller Fortnite Bundle (Outfit + 500 V-Bucks) + 3 Months Stan $49 @ JB Hi-Fi

930

For those that missed out on the Amazon deal for $45 this isn't too far off. It also comes with 3 months of Stan, so I suppose it's worth it

Could stack with this deal also if you'd like to get a $10 voucher.

    • What's a good idea to buy for fukall?

  • Thanks. Got it. :)

I don't like fortnite, I don't like Stan but I like this price

$49 to get your arse kicked by a keyboard+mouse player. No thanks!

    • Is fornite cross platform?

      • Yes but i believe it indicates if people are llaying with mouse and keyboard. However just play better games haha

    • Keyboard and mouse are matched on xbox and you don't join a match for people using controllers

      • +2

any platform can use keyboard and mouse

        • Wish I could use kb mouse on PS4!

Can you use the Stan coupon on an existing account? So if you already subscribe to Stan, the three-month saving makes this a PS4 controller for $13?

    • Same question

    • +1

Buy this selected PlayStation 4 controller and get 3 months Stan Standard Plan! New subscribers to the Stan Service get 3 months of the Stan Standard Plan. Current subscribers (i.e. existing or returned subscribers) to the Stan Service, get a 3 month upgrade to the Stan Premium Plan (provided they are not currently subscribers to the Stan Premium Plan).

    • Already a subscriber, then you get upgraded to Stan premium for 3 months, not an extra 3 months.

  • Is the 500 vbucks a psn credit like previous ebgames vbucks deals?

    • no its just 500 vbucks ingame.

  • I just bought this but i didnt get any extra card for stan… Is it in the box?

    • +1

You should have received an additional receipt or email will be coming soon

      • I ordered for click and collect. Asked about the Stan code when I picked it up earlier today and they said I'd probably get it as an email. Didn't sound like they really knew though.

        Nothing yet

        • +1

I ordered Spidey PS4 last week and got the email the next day

        • I got an email for the code a couple hours after picking up click and collect. Ordered the night before.

Sorry to ask a silly question, but do you have to have buy the Fortnite game from the store ? I have just bought my son a PS4 for Christmas, I dont have the Fortnite game though but I need a new controller anyway …..

    • +1

Fornite Battle Royale is free for PS4. Furthermore, you don't need an active PS Plus subscription to play it.

      • Oh ok thats good, so How much would 500 V Bucks cost to buy then ?

        • Normally, it costs about $5 I think. But, it is useless for people like me (I don't playing that game because I am hopeless in that game).

      • +6

Just a heads up. You want to open that ps4 and update / download the game. Or other games

So he can actually play on christmas day. Without having to wait for a download.

    • Nah it's free to download and play.

    • Fortnite game itself is free, or it was when I downloaded it months ago. Riddled with micro transactions though

I’m sure the market will get flooded and drive down prices, but looking at what the Fortnite skin + 500 V Bucks code from these packs have been selling for on eBay, you could just about recoup most of your $49.

  • +1

Sold the fortnite skin on ebay for $35. Got myself a $14 controller :D

What if you get scammy buyers doing charge backs?

      • Call Sony and ask for evidence when code was used? idk

        • PayPal/eBay provide no seller protection for digital game codes, unless physically sent, and even then it's not easy

      • This is what I'm scared of. Not even sure how to prevent this.

        • This happened to me before. After that, I always send digital codes via registered post. Buyers might want the digital code right away, but I still send them the physical code (often it is printed on a card so I send the buyer the card).

Also, I would mention the code would be sent by registered post in the listing. Some "buyers" claimed their accounts got hacked. One other thing, it is not necessary a good idea to send the code right away. I had a buyer's account, claimed to be hacked, requesting a cancellation right away (within 1 hour).

I've had that happen before. To get around this I just sent an empty letter with tracking to a random house in their suburb. Reason I chose a random house was because their address was a shopping centre so I decided not to risk it getting redirected back to me.

Paypal closed the case in my favour as soon as the tracking said delivered.

        • Did you send the letter before or after a PayPal dispute was opened?

          • +1

@Ughhh: After, express post to be safe.

            • @brandogs: But dont you need to prove that it was delivered to the buyer's address and not a random address? I thought express post isn't good enough. It's need to be registered with the address details?

              • @manbearpig: AusPost tracking is only as accurate as suburb.

I used a pre-paid express post letter (no signature required) which was no problem. This would have been 2 years ago.

Wow nicely done. Surely to buy the skin in the game it is cheaper than that?

  • Cheers OP, got the last at my local store.

  • +1

Does anyone know if the fortnite skin and vbucks can be redeemed on other platforms ie. Pc?

    • +1

      Nah. It's a 12 digit PSN code

  • Damn saw this and didn't even think it was a deal so didn't post hahaha!

  • Can I redeem this skin on PS4 and use it on other consoles?

  • Sold my skin stating that it's only compatible in certain regions. Someone in the US bought it.

    Should I:
    a) message them to confirm that they understand it's not for North American regions then tell them I'll post it.
    b) just send it by registered post without messaging them.

    • a) - check with the buyer. There is no point having the buyer later requesting a refund (or getting upset and neg vote you). Cancelling the transaction early if the item is not suitable for buyer is better than the long loop. feeBay prefer / recommend sellers provide return postage. You really don't want to go down that path.

Probably should have restricted the listing to AU only.

      • Well, I contacted the buyer and they haven't responded even after a few days. Even if it's a 'hacked account', if I send the code by registered mail, PayPal will still favour my side if a dispute is opened right? So I'd have nothing to lose?

    • Are the codes 100% known to be region locked? I see that they are going for more $ when selling to the overseas markets.

      • Are these codes are generated by Sony (so they are kind of like DLC codes)? They might be redeemable only on an AU PSN account. Not able to find a definitive answer on the Web. Some people indicated PSN codes are region locked while others indicated they gifted their overseas friends some Fortnite friends codes and worked.

Not sure whether it is worth the trouble selling to overseas buyers.

        • I reckon the codes are PAL locked because its printed on a booklet containing many different European languages. Plus in the T&Cs it states the code was issued by Sony Europe.
