Seems like a good price I'd say. It says there are more than 10 available so stock shouldn't be a problem. Enjoy.

    Will this mine shitcoins?

Don't even get me started. 1070 launch price was around $450AU if you knew where to look. Got to nearly $800 during crypto rush. Now a "good" price for a 2070 is $700. Nvidia is milking its gamer audience for all they are with because cryptocurrencies gave them the excuse.

  • How is it compared to this

Well $100 less I think the answer is obvious. Mine may not be the best deal ever but it's cheaper than the cheapest on staticice so if someone needs one now this is an option :)

      • Yeah I know but Ive been out of the graphics card market for years so thought there might ve something else like one was more efficient or vastly superior in QC.

        • One's an OC model, so has better-binned silicon and usually a higher power limit.

The other one is stock, with slightly worse silicon. The real world difference is usually 5%, but the cost difference is far greater. Both cards can be overclocked, it's just that one is better suited to it.

A stock card with a nice fan will be the value buy this generation, but current pricing will be around that $650 mark on sale, at least until there's a price drop.

          • @jasswolf: Thanks mate will wait a bit more

@Jimothy Wongingtons: I've actually misread the title. Both are stock cards (non A-list), so definitely wait.

              • +1

@jasswolf: The card does say '1 Click OC' on the eBay page whatever the hell that means.

                • @Ostrk: Believe that refers to the auto overclock software RTX cards have.

Might be wrong on tbat, but remember some YTers talking about it.

That's not an OC card, so there's a silicon difference. Check reviews to compare how they overclock.

Both have a core clock of 1620, Galax don't make any promises to what you can achieve. I seriously doubt the chips are binned differently at the bottom end.

        • My bad, I've misread the description. This is a stock card… confused it with the EX OC.

I'd prefer the Gigabyte as well, but I'd avoid both at these prices.

  • EDIT: RIP I'm blind thought this was a 1070.

  • For less than 100$ more i saw this same seller, sell an OC version. 3 left tho. had the Peppy tag on it
