In the photo there are poles and pegs? Is that an example? Haha
If there's any wind the poles and pegs would be needed I assume…

Had a look at one of these, there's a reason it's being seriously discounted. 2 metres out from the car isn't really a decent shade, 2.5m or even 3m is better. However as FLICKIT surmised, if there's any breeze around it would need to be supported.
I purchased the Adventure Kings 2 x 3m awning, and can't fault it. Nor the price which is currently $124 delivered.
Since you're using Adventure Kings products: Do you have anything to add to this forum topic of mine?
I take it this is really heavy? (for a campervan)
