Nice but if rather buy a $20 10,000 xiaomi power bank and spigen $15 case

    Is this good value?

    • +4

      Spigen cases are the best

      • are they US only? where to buy in AU?

Myself and my partner's last few phone's have used spigen slim cases and they've never been damaged, and we don't even use screen protectors. They've awesome especially for value

      • Can Confirm. Dropped my S7 with the Spigen case a few times by accident and still no cracked screen.

It says here the battery is 5200 mAh.
    Maybe there's another one.

    • Hmm… The RRP at the Samsung link is $120. The Telstra price is marked down from $120. If there was another version you'd think it would have a different price. Maybe someone can pop into a Telstra store and check for us?

      • I tried Telstra store, no stock. Bought one on ebay… It'll be going back if it's only a 5200mAh battery. Not really a bargain if it's only 5200. Telstra online and Telstra ebay both said 10200mAh :|

Its the same SKU. So good luck getting 10.200mAh.

        • Personally I really like thin slim, and hopefully swift/fast charging ( power banks as well as girls haha ) over larger heavier and less ergonomic harder to hold power banks for normal daily use.

Although this one is nearly certainly only 5200mAH it would be slim and light and made to size/fit the SG8+ nicely and has fast charge and usb type c cable too. You can always use a/your larger power bank for longer trips.

Found someone to split the deal with, thanks OP.

    • How did you do that so quick before even asking a question yet ( on here anyways lol)?

      • +1

I did ask here, then asked someone irl and got an instant yes, so I edited my comment 15 mins later hah :)

        • Wow, I missed all that and did not really think of that, although I knew it was possible. Good results then for 2 of you ( or 3 maybe lol ).

5200 mah according to telstra store? I don't think they came in different variants apart from the one with the wireless charger ):

  • Seems out of stock now. Good deal.

  • Would love an s8 one

  • If anyone bought one here and does not want it ( because it's too low mAh for you or whatever ), I might be interested. PM me here, thanks.

Took me far too long to realise it wasn’t:

    • a 200mAh battery pack
    • 10x 200mAh packs

    Bought one, thanks OP !!

You must have done that some hours ago yes?

      • +3

Yes… you right. But I had to signup to say thanks to OP. Which took me some time lol.

Well done and welcome to OzBargain.

  • Cheers .. thanks

  • Mine arrived yesterday. 5,200 mAh battery as others above and it's a micro usb + type C adaptor. Telstra chat and customer service number have been useless and the physical store says they can't do anything so I just put in a formal complaint.

Also Telstra changed the description of the item and removed the "10,200 mAh powerbank" description, but in case anyone needs a screenshot, here ya go:

I received mine too, but then also received an email saying that they realised their error and that they have found the original 10.200mAh packs and will be sending one of those for free, as well as getting to keep the original. Winner!

      • Lucky you, glad to hear you didn't have to put up with their b.s.

If you can upload a screenshot of their email that would be great.

Their support said my order hadn't even been put through even though I received the package shrugs

I got the same email after complaining on eBay, they said posting out 10,200 mAh and I can keep the other :)
