If you’re eyeing an upgrade to the iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB, here’s an amazing Vodafone deal. You can score $300 off the device, but here's the catch! The discount applies only if you commit to a 12‑month device repayment period. This means the phone must be paid off over 12 months to unlock the savings.

Here’s the breakdown:

• The device costs $154.08 per month over 12 months, totaling $1,848.96 (compared to the full RRP of $2,149).
• Over the same 12‑month term, you’re locked into a Vodafone plan that, for the first year, charges $39 per month for 100GB of data, unlimited talk and text. The plan after that increases to $49 (That plan totals AU$468 for the year.)
• Add these together and your total spend for device and plan is $2,316.96.
• When you compare this total to the full retail price of the phone ($2,149), you’re effectively paying only an extra $167.96 over the year. In other words, your phone plan comes out to roughly $14 a month for 100GB of data plus unlimited talk and text.

Not only does this structure make the monthly cost remarkably low, but opting for the 12‑month repayment period proves to be far more cost-effective than longer-term options.

On top of that, Vodafone has recently expanded its network coverage significantly across Australia. I’ve personally used Vodafone for the past year on a prepaid deal and never once had an issue with their service.

If you’re looking to upgrade your iPhone with a great deal on a plan for the year, this is a great deal.

But… thing is most of us on here can get 10% off Apple gift cards equivalents when it’s on sale at Colesworth

  • Is this 2015?

  • Weird coupon code, where’d it come from?

Officeworks price matching and discounted gift cards (when available) brings the outright cost down to less than $1700 fairly regularly

There is no such points for these obsolete 16 seriers when 17 are coming soon i nnext few months.

Rumored brand new and bold new desings ( cameras arranged inline instead with triangle layout) would make them easy to stand out among old models. Not to mention new A19 chipset and possibly increased 12GB ram. etc

Save your impulsive spending from any 10% or 15% off bargains for the next gen.

    • Apple resale value is always good, some people need a new phone now :)

Yeah, but you’re not really saving anything here. Ten percent off on gift cards is pretty standard, and sometimes there’s a hundred dollars off on the sixteen range as well. On top of that, you’ll be paying $39 a month in a locked-in contract.

It's not really an upfront saving for anyone trying to distribute the cost.

    • If you got it, flaunt it!

  • Greengadets on eBay has excellent condition refurb for 2049 minus eBay coupon 300 FBRY20 = 1749 which probably be its new price once 17 series is out

  • Does price in title include plan?

    Edit: it does not
