I cancelled my Stan subscription about 6 months ago. Have received an email with a unique code to reactivate and get a month's access to the Premium service for free. No further commitment required provided the subscription is cancelled within the 30 day free period.
Cancelled over two years ago, do not have a recent email. But got this offer in April/May.
Stan will run out of business, their technology and service not even close to netflix.

Their Tech is soooo bad (the android app has 3 star reviews and that's actually an improvement compared to a few years ago) whereas Netflix just works.
Even if their tech was up to scratch, they just can't compete on content with either Netflix or Amazon Prime and that's even before CBS all access launches in Australia (soonish).
I am honestly surprised they actually lasted that long already
All the services are just biding time until Disney launch their platform. They have so much IP since acquiring Fox.
I watch both stan and Netflix on the train and find the stan app uses 3x the amount of data compared to Netflix and the quality is not as good. Stan often buffers, but rarely does with Netflix.

It doesn't let you try and cancel right away and keep the free month so be sure to set a reminder.
You can cancel recurring payments through paypal/profile/my money/my pre-approved payments/update/cancel.
