  • Wow good price. Thanks for sharing.

  • Is the air good again? I remember for a while the standard macbook seemed better. Thinner, lighter etc.

    • It's still thinner and lighter I think.
The Air is good, just overpriced heavily.

    • I think it's the one with a Y processor. Yeah, no thanks.

  • What kinda project you guys on?

    • +1

Most of our projects involve rolling out laptops to our enterprise clients, predominantly Windows-based machines with a sprinkling of Apple products. We tend to over-provision project requirements and as we can re-use the Windows laptops for other projects, we do not need to clear those out. We do not like holding stock of Apple products because of this.

  • Would pickup be an option? Postage is out as I'm headed overseas on Sunday (TRS)

    • Pickup would have to be after hours as our warehouse does not have the facility for public access. PM me for details.

  • How many that you have got there?

    • Why? Are you planning to order a dozen of each colour? :)

PS: You can see the amount we made available on Ebay.

      • I am planning to purchase it within a few hours rather than immediately, I am making sure that I will not miss out :)

        • I think you will be fine - we generally don't generate a huge interest on Ebay with Apple products.

@sm007h: Why not ? Can you do a deal for Macbook pro too ?

            • +1

              @yht: Waiting on this too 512gb 13" 2018 pro

            • +1

@yht: Second a deal for the Macbook pro

@Jim Beam: Where was everyone when we did the MacBook promo just over a week ago?

  • lord knows how they managed to release a dual core laptop in 2018 for 2 grand, and still get people to buy it.

It's the same people that splash $3k on an iPhone and lining up outside the store at 3am…

      • Where's this 3k iPhone you speak of?

  • my dad's old Mac book pro just dead. Looking for a replacement. is this good price?

    • this model sellin for 2150 on official apple site, 2070 if ur gettin student pricing. so yea ur saving about 200 bucks.

People still pay close to $2k for a laptop that doesn't run games in 2018. Wow

    • +2

      not everyone needs games

  • Why would anyone buy a 2k+ apple product from an ebay seller with 250 feedbacks and an ABN number that was cancelled in 2017.

    • We have updated our ABN for ebay that was better suited for our business purposes. The ABN is valid and there have been numerous people claiming TRS refunds off our invoices.

Look at our past deals here - if there were issues, people would have raised them by now.

    • eBay.. PayPal buyer protection..

I don't discriminate as long as it's new and there's PayPal.

But on another note, chasing a deal on the 512gb MacBook Pro 13 2018. Anything?

      • I think we did a MacBook deal a few weeks ago. Not sure when we will be doing another project involving that particular MacBook.

And further to your point, you not only have eBay and PayPal protection, we also provide a returns policy that eBay strictly enforces. Also, our listings comply with eBay Plus, which also provides you with further benefits as a buyer.

That's a pretty nice price for a MacBook Air. I don't get people complaining about the price. No one is forcing you to buy one or Apple products for that matter…

    • +2

Unfortunately, a significant group of members on this site live by a very strict penny-pinching rule, where nothing that isn't dirt cheap is worth buying.

  • any chance for 15'?

    • Sorry, what model are you referring to?

      • oh sorry, Macbook pro 15' :)

        • Model?

  • Price is still too high. I will wait for >20% off RRP. Never failed to achieve this.

    • Where did you get your last >20% off from?

  • In the past 3 years I have bought zero macs but maybe 6 or 7 iPads and 3 iPhones all at more than 20% discount. Generally you can’t get that much discount within 2 months of new model release. Best chance of Mac 20%+ discount would be to wait for ebay 20% seller discounts and often the seller will have a pre 20% MacBook price slightly lower than Apple RRP amd then use cash rewards for another 1%. This would add up to around 23% discount.

  • Will you need to be an authorised Apple dealer for the buyer to claim warranty with Apple ? I am not sure if you are an authorised Apple dealer though

  • Does it come in the sealed packaging? Thinking of gifting it to my sis.

  • For those still monitoring this thread, we put up some MacBook Pro 15" on ebay. We will also put up some MacBook Pro 13" shortly.

    • Thanks. Please post up models and respective prices before and after discount?

      • If you look at the "Pay only" part of the listing, you should be able to see what the net price is after the ebay promo code is entered.

  • This deal is available again, using PUDDING code.
I just got the Silver, and used the 10% off combined with 5% off $500 of gift cards from another deal. If cashrewards tracks, it should all come out as under $1800.

  • I got this yesterday while it was still 5% at $2041 and further 10% off using PUDDING, price $1837.39. Click thru shopback 1% brings the price down $1819. Then TRS additional 10%, final price $1638. Pay by Amex get an insurance protection.

  • What I don't like is that they are using Fastway to deliver the goods. It should change name to SlowCheapWay as their delivery time is much slower than AusPost.

    • All couriers have their problems - we have used many couriers in the past. In terms of reliability and delivery speed, Fastway is one of the better ones. In terms of pricing, they are middle of the road and if our decision was just based on economics alone, we could save several thousand dollars per month if we chose a different courier.

The biggest issue is the franchise drivers - there are drivers in certain areas that are unreliable. We cannot base our decision based on certain areas having bad drivers.

      • Thank you for your explanation
