  • Is that code for the Australian store or the US store?

    • Just tried on AU store and looks like it works

  • hmmm not sure if i want to spend $50 on a leather strap

      • yeah i have a CF one like this.

    • I think they only use genuine leather so not quality leather. And it'll fall apart after a few years. That's my only qualm, just the materials aren't long-lasting. Though this is my thought from several years ago when they first came out. Maybe they've got higher quality leather options now. I don't know.

  • I can’t understand the benefit of these. Most people (anyone with a car) will not be able to use this because they have a fat key and remote locking. I love the look of it but it’s a shame it isn’t really practical.

    • You hang your car key on the end (I have one) but only one. I also have an electric gate and unfortunately it’s too small for both to hang on the end …

    • I made my own orbitkeys and have been using it for the past 5 years. I love it. It's super practical. I only put my housekeys in it, other things such as my mini-torch, swiss army knife and car keys are hung off the orbitkey.

The thing I like best is that all my housekeys are contained, don't jingle, make sounds, etc and I can just swing it out to use.

  • +1

I bought a leather Orbitkey a round Feb this year for $44.90 (incl the multi-tool & shipping) and it has served me well. I wanted one because I found that the keys in my pocket were scratching my phone and wearing holes over-time in the pocket. The Orbitkey has performed very well and I can see it lasting for many years. It contains all my smaller keys while my bigger car key (with they key folded in) is attached to the end.

Yes, Orbitkey is relatively expensive compared to the cheaper knock-offs but I figure it's worth paying for something that looks good and will last. I also wanted to support an innovative Melbourne company.
