      • +1

        Nah, just ̶-E̶a̶r̶l̶y̶ ̶A̶p̶r̶i̶l̶ ̶F̶o̶o̶l̶s̶ joke.

      • +14

        Out of season April fools

  • +30

    $120 minimum spend? Ouch.

    • +26

      Think of it as $108

  • +20

Last week max discount of $300 and now at $100 with $120 minimum spend. Well done Ebay!

    • +11

And by morning half the things will not be Ebay Plus!!!!!

      • +9

I hate that there's no consistency to what is/isn't an eBay Plus item.

        • +2

like when you add it to the cart, then 10 minutes later at the checkout, it's no longer ebay plus

    • -1

      Is that sarcasm?

      • +2

        was that rhetoric?

        • Do I know what rhetorical means?

  • +3

    $120 minimum spend again?!?! :(

  • +21

    Lol @ the minimum spend.

For that kind of minimum spend I'd be expecting a 20% discount, especially for those of us that have paid for that crappy eBay plus subscription.

    • +1

      Lol @ max discount

  • +4

Too late to the party. Aliexpress got my money. Plus, ebay plus…yeah nah.

    • +5

      Terrible deal worth boycott

      • +5

Agree, quality of eBay deals are getting worse and worse…

      • +10

        yet you upvoted lol

        • Baah baaah baaaah

        • -6

Upvote for TA efforts, couldn't neg him

          • +9

@Jamesx: While I appreciate the effort, I upvote the deal not the poster of the deal. Votes are supposed to keep the legit.

  • +5

For those signing up to the trial, make sure to actually cancel your membership. There are two confirmation buttons and it can get confusing.

    • +1

This. I ended up paying for a subscription because I didn't successfully cancel.

      • Same!

  • +14

Ebay plus has been a waste

  • +19

$120 minimum spend? Even for an Ebay Plus member? Greedy Ebay -_-. Worthless membership :'(

    • just use the trial

    • +3

      …Greedy Ebay -_-.

And I'm sure your motivation to pay less is so you can pass on your savings to a charity.

  • So we pay monthly to get 10% off fair call

  • +20

Ebay Plus has been an utter waste for me. I forgot to cancel so was stung with the fee which was offset a little with the $20 voucher from their last promo but even with that, I would not recommend joining to anyone.

And if this is their idea of a Frenzy deal, it justifies the point even more of how little value actually joining and paying $49 is.

    • +3

Only on plus items too. Yet it’s common to get 10% off site wide for non-plus members. Well… was.

    • I managed to get mine cancelled and refunded after I put in a paypal dispute. It took the money out of my usd balance.

    • +1

I forgot to cancel mine also but luckily I got the Google home mini promo and sold it for $50 so i made a dollar.

    • +8

      I forgot to cancel

This is the eBay Plus business model :D

  • +8

Rubbish deal. Minimum spend is pathetic, hard pass.

  • +12

Typical ebay garbage yet soo many ebay upvote heroes..

    • +3

      ebay upvote bots

      • +2

I welcome our new ebay overlords on ozbargain 😂

    • +15

Seriously, they see ebay and just upvote. Terrible deal.

  • +3

Those 3 retailers cbf jacking prices so they said no thanks

  • feel pity to those who actually pay $49 for the membership fee, but this is what they got, the april fools joke on click frenzy

  • +5

    eBay: Sellers, please price jack.

    "No"

    Listed Exclusions:

All items sold by the following sellers:
       (1) Officeworks;
       (2) Fantastic Furniture; and
       (3) Target.

    • +11

Who even upvotes such a deal?

People who have eBay Plus and can take advantage of this deal clearly.

    • +1

Click on votes directly below OP's title to see exactly which 137+ Members voted for such a deal.

    • +6

Not all deals are useful for everybody. Do you go and down vote every single deal which is of no use to you, or are you simply being spiteful?

  • +1

This is not the way to get me to spend, eBay.

  • +1

As a plus member from the start… Plus items are usually expensive.. Not this has a high min spend… Pass for me.

  • How did you guys find out about this deal, do you get message from ebay?

    • Yes but you need to establish contacts first

  • +2

Its getting stingier. Soon itll be 5% off all ebay plus items.

  • Yeah I only got one nice deal to make my ebay plus worth it was that ps VR bundle from gamesmen a while back and the synology nas.

    Otherwise ebay plus is crap

  • Damnit, just bought a gimbal yesterday

    • +10

      Steady…

    • +1

      Shake it off.

  • A decent phone in the $200 range?

  • +1

Well finally gotten me to cancel eBay Plus, minimum spend and a membership required. Still get delivery fee's on my eBay Plus purchases, so not sure what benefits are to be gotten paying $49 a year.

  • Hmm… put an item in the cart to purchase that's Ebay Plus. Have signed up to Ebay Plus. Enter in PFRENZY code. "Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later"

    • Offer Period. This offer commences at 10.00 (AEDT) on 13 November and ends at 23.59 (AEDT) on 14 November 2018 (“Offer Period”).

      • Ah ha… I obviously need to read those T&C's more closely. Thanks!

  • any apple watch sellers?

  • eBay plus is joke, I can't really see any benefit apart from those 25% deal at the launch date. Regret letting the membership run for $29 a year after trial.

  • I got this off an item that wasnt listed as ebay plus (but I do have ebay plus)

  • -2

So many people whinging, 10% is 10%. Im happy with that discount as I missed out on the 10% deal last week and only had 5% available to me.
Im buying a phone this week, at 5% discount is $18.75 discount, using this 10% discount its $37.50 off.

The ebay plus and non-ebay plus item was the same price for me, I paid $29 for original deal and a free google home mini. Over the last few months saving a few bucks here and there has more than paid for my membership (even if I paid full $49 with no gifts).

10% is better than nothing and still is cheaper than other retailers I can find, even with 11.11 deals.

  • +3

    ctd_au
Had a phone added to my cart yesterday worth 476AUD (452.2 with P5OFF code)
Came to office today, refreshed the browser, and BOOM!
The price is now 526.90AUD (474.21 with PFRENZY code)

Price hiking at its best. I was better off buying without the FRENZY code.
Only If I knew, I would've taken a screenshot to let eBay know :(

  • +5

Looks like it has been changed from eBay plus items to sitewide.

T&Cs: The offer entitles you to 10% off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) on all items listed on www.ebay.com.au except the Excluded Items when you spend $120 or more in one transaction during the Offer Period, up to a maximum discount of $100 per transaction

    • You're spot on. Post updated. Thank you.

  • 10% site wide now? Ayeee! I just bought a surface go at under $700 bucks. Pretty happy with this one. Now to find a keyboard and whatnot.

    • Sorry but did you get the 4gb or 8gb model?

      • it was the 8gb model.

  • Well, that's that. Spent $1.2k today on misc things. Not a bad offer - nothing I wanted was price jacked.

  • Is this only for items that have a eBay plus annotation? Want to buy a fridge from appliances Online in eBay.

    • eBay updated the terms to include all items for Plus members, so you should be fine.

  • Does this stack with the PROCESS deal at Computer Alliance?
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/415515/related

  • +1

TA, quite disappointed with the MAX discount of $100.. example of a $2099 item,

    P5OFF Applied: AU $104.95
    PFRENZY Applied: AU $100.00

    • +11

Not sure what you'd like me to do lol. I only post the deals.

  • I can't work out if eBay Plus is worth it or not, because it never shows whether or not you're actually getting free delivery through eBay Plus or if the item was free delivery before it was eBay Plus-ed. I've not seen one eBay Plus item showing "you'll save $n.nn on delivery." I guess I could sign out and then check for a delivery fee on an eBay Plus item, and choose that one so I can feel like I've saved money, but it seems like a bit of a hassle.

  • Dang, I just bought $500 item last night using p5off instead…..

  • +1

I wonder how many Germans are setting up Australian eBay accounts.🤣

    • Doesnt look like a very efficient way to save money.

  • -7

Wow, pretty terrible deal (min spend, max discount, eBay Plus only)

    • No way man, there are 3 related deals from this with an average of +6 votes. Top deal worth over 200+ upvotes.

      PS. sarcasm.
PPS. your neg will be revoked like mine
PPPS. my comment will be revoked too

      • I wonder how many negative votes this deal would have if not revoked…

  • Strange thing is I dont see this advertised (for me) on ebay anywhere or when I login to see where the coupons are usually located. Basically, If it wasnt posted on OzBargain, I wouldnt be aware of it.

  • +1

Anyone else getting the "We can't apply this code until you reach the minimum order total." error code?
Have $173 worth in cart, 9 items and only $5 postage in that total so what the hell.

    • Same here. I have $124 total in my cart. Same message when using the code.

Noticed that if I have 2 items whose total is over $120, it works. But if I have 3 items, but the sum of any of those two items are less than $120, code will not work.

Not sure if this is expected. Really weird way to work. Sent an email to ebay. Hope they reply ASAP.
