Meh. Coles homebrand 5-pack $1 for "Chicken" or "Beef" flavours, and $1.50 for "Mi goreng" flavour - why bother with Maggi?

      Maggi tastes better?

      • -6

We're talking about instant noodles, here.
Taste is never going to be great.
I remember an episode of Red Dwarf where Lister states he would rather eat dog food instead of "pot noodles"

Mate, fine if you prefer dog food. This is a instant noodle deal not a dog food deal.

How do these compare to the Indomie Mi Goreng noodles?

    • +9

      Nothing compares to Indomie. :)

      • Betul!

    • Try eating Maggi raw vs Indomie (or pretty much any other brand). There is that much processed crap in Maggi you can't eat raw like any other noodles.

    Yum.

I find the Australian retailed versions of Maggi horrible compared to the Asian ones. I only get instant noodles from Oriental/Korean shops now. Best is the Kari (curry) flavour, will pay the extra 50c!

Real deal (Indomie) is 10 for $4 at IGA:

  • I wish they made instant noodles 1.5 times bigger than what they are - ie. more noodles. Always left just a little bit wanting.
